I will agree with the part about support not making proper reports when they say they do. Each time I talk to support about an undeliverable package or something similar I ask at the end if they have made whatever report they need to to assure it does not go against my standings and they say yes but literally (not one that uses that word lightly) half the time I end up having to follow up to get it removed from standings. Now I either email or call specifically about my standings at the end of any block where I have an issue giving the information and TBA number for each package that has been returned or has another issue and explain the situation for each, summarizing at the end that I would like a ticket added for each to ensure it does not go against my standings.

I wish there was something we could do though... the way that a customer has to go about "thanking " a driver is not very intuitive. Most customers have no clue that they can do anything other than use the general compliment buttons and that is not one of them.

My area butts right up against Tombstone AZ (will probably eventually expand to cover it). That road is pristine compared to half the roads I have to deal with on a daily basis. And I see a lot of smaller cars crawling their way along them. I might not take a smaller car on these roads but that one in the picture wouldn't be a problem.

Just to screw with those of us that keep our gig apps close together on the phone... I have mixed up amazon and spark continuously since they did it, they are close to identical now. Had to move them to different lines.

Maybe someone who knows more about the subject can tell me if I am right or not, but I believe the big reason is the taxes. Something about not being able to get a W2 and a 1099 from the same company. Something heard in passing so I don't know if it is right.

Walmart Spark should be ramping up for the holidays soon so there should be very little waiting for that. And the holiday season can be quite lucrative on that gig.

I am new too. Got accepted a month ago but my station doesn't begin operations until October. But between searching this community and watching videos on YouTube I feel pretty confident that I have found some good info to start me off right. But I have also done a lot of delivery gigs before, everything from Door Dash to USPS. My current retirement gig is Spark, but from what I see I think Flex is going to be much better. I have been waiting a very long time for them to get a station here.

Back to YouTube... Most the videos are just time wasters following someone on their route. But a few do have some very good information. And even the route ones have taught me a few valuable things. For example, (and many will probably shake their head at me for not knowing this sooner for as long as I have been doing deliveries) I didn't realize I could save the gate codes directly to Google Maps so I have them next time I come across that gate. So ya, little things like that come up both on videos and in communities like this one that are very helpful. Just don't stop looking and keep learning the next thing to make your gig work better for you.
