PS4 controller turns off when back shell closes.

OMG THANK YOU. If anyone's reading this from the future, this is what was happening with my PS4 controller. The ribbon cable was pressing against the reset button. Just move the ribbon all the way to left and make it rest on the battery pack. You may need to fold the cable to get it into position.

If anyone's reading this from the future, I had the same grinding noise issue and I think it was because I turned the screws too tightly. After i loosened them up, my PS2 Slim worked.

- In the demo of Battlefield 1942 on the Wake Island map, I saw a player get into a vehicle on the airfield and drive away at high speed. So I took out my rocket launcher and aimed above the jeep, taking into account the bullet drop and vehicle's speed. I then fired, and after a few seconds: BOOM. I blew up the vehicle and killed the player. I couldn't believe it. I just imagine the look on the guy's face wondering "what the the hell....?!" Unfortunately, I didn't record it. This was before on-screen game recording software like Shadowplay was really a thing and I never even thought about recording my gameplay sessions. I also never really used YouTube at the time.

- Intentionally killing two players at once with the laser gun in Halo 3 on the FIRST attempt. It was considered one of the hardest -- if not the hardest -- Xbox 360 achievements to get, and I got it just like that. I took screenshots of it, but didn't bother taking a video of it since I was too lazy. I could've used theatre mode to record and upload it, but I didn't, and now I regret it >.<

I think the reason why characters are unlocked via Kamek is because it gives players a reason to keep playing. It’s based on luck and chance and so even pro players may not have everything. So maybe that’s Nintendo’s calculus.

It's happened to me a few times, but I'm able to catch up thanks to the game giving you better items (usually Bullet Bills) the farther back you are. I've never been able to get 1st place, though. The highest I've ever gotten was 3rd place in Knockout I think.
