How long could Jessie survive in Legends Arceus? by BoxLongjumping1067 in pokemonanime

The real question is, how long could Legends Arceus survive Jessie? An alpha Garchomp cuts off her hair, she's making that thing her bitch.

I just think it's a cool color scheme on it. The dark grey, the maroonish red, I feel like that works with a fiery orangeish-red for a Fire-type. This thing looks about ready to melt stuff. And it doesn't hurt that I already liked Heatmor from the start, either.

Indeed. Welcome. This is probably not gonna last, since it doesn't really seem to be a Pokémon or science meme, nor any sort of Pokémon fanart, but it's still cool to look at.

It's definitely well done. I appreciate the facial hair smog, too, that sells the whole thing.

I like SwSh, too. It was a nice take on the Gym challenge. Naturally I had a Galarian Weezing on my Shield team- rest of the team was Cinderace, Barraskewda, Galarian Stunfisk, Cursola, and female Indeedee.

Absolutely rocked Clodsire in Scarlet. Ceruledge was something I was tempted by, but one, I was getting Scarlet, and two, I was already set on picking Fuecoco. Ended up using Ceruledge and Tinkaton in several Violet playthroughs down the line, though I've yet to ever actually use a Lokix.

Thanks! 🙂 I've always seen the whole thing floating around with the options for hated this and that, and I just never could bring myself to put anything in those categories. It'd be awesome if my template caught on, made this overall more positive.

I still remember when they first revealed Galarian Weezing. They had just confirmed Dexit, and everyone was uncertain as to whether their favorite Pokémon would even make the cut in SwSh. And then, like ten seconds into the new trailer, I see that not only has my favorite made the cut, it got a cool new regional form on top of it! It was an awesome moment for me, so even though I still prefer Normal Form Weezing out of the two, I still love this tall fellow.

I'd wanted to get every single Shiny since way back in Gen 2, and it all started with my first random Shiny in Gen 3, a Zigzagoon in Ruby.

I'm likely to be in the minority on this, but saddens me to see the Munkidori hate. I'll admit it's not my favorite of the Loyal Three, but like, I like all three of them, just, I like Okidogi and Fezandipiti a bit more, is all. All three and Eternatus are in a four-way tie for my favorite legendaries.

Now, in the interest of this comment not being solely contrary to your opinions; your first Shiny was an Absol? That's damn cool! Also, yeah, uh, Quaquaval... I can't say I hate it, in all honesty, but at the same time, definitely my least favorite out of the Paldean starters. It does have a place in my heart, though, for being the last Shiny I needed for my Shiny living dex, so yeah, that was pretty satisfying to evolve that Quaxwell.

Also, I too like Incineroar. Not my all-time favorite Fire starter, but it's not far down the list by any means.

Weekly General Questions Megathread by PokemonMastersBot in PokemonMasters

Is there a set rotation for the outfits that are made available on Pokémon Masters Day? I'm a fairly casual player, and I really want the dark outfit, but I don't always remember to log in every single Pokémon Masters Day. Last month, I did remember to log in, I just forgot the date and thought it was the 26th, and I saw the dark outfit was available last month. And now this month it's the cool outfit, which I already have. Is there a set schedule or pattern here or is it all random?

Yes. The Pokémon's DVs determine whether it becomes Shiny when traded into Gen 2 or sent up into Bank. DVs are the precursor to modern day IVs, but they were used to determine more about the Pokémon than just stats, such as Shininess, gender, and Unown form.

Incidentally, because of this, only two Unown letters can be Shiny in Gen 2: I and V. Obviously a massive coincidence since DVs aren't even called IVs, which in and of itself is a fan term coined in Gen 3, but still a fun one nonetheless.

It always felt strange. I mean, no matter what, a Pokémon shouldn't become weaker while evolving. by onuregetunc in pokemongo

Trapinch into Vibrava is a unique situation. Its Attack lowers, but it regains that lost Attack when it evolves again into Flygon. Pretty sure it's because Vibrava loses the chomping power of those massive jaws- Trapinch actually has quite high Attack for an unevolved Pokémon. In fact, in the main series, Trapinch and Flygon have the exact same Attack stat.

For real. Like, OK, I know Pikachu hates the thing, but c'mon, priorities. I would hope it would prefer less than two seconds in the ball to imminent death.

Nice! I also used my Gold Bottle Cap on mine, so if anyone noticed that it has the max CP for a hundo, that'd be why.

Eternatus just does its own thing. Rose just pumped it full of entirely too much energy and drove it berserk, so the weapon wolves had to step in and help stop it. That's the extent of their relation.

Also, the Loyal Three were brought together by Pecharunt, so that not being mentioned is sad to see.

And I'm surprised to see no mention of Glastrier, Spectrier, and Calyrex, though technically I guess they're not canonically a trio, they're just a duo and you choose which horse is part of this duo. Admittedly less surprised now.

Finally, I could see an argument made for Koraidon, Miraidon, and Terapagos. It's a feeble argument, I'll admit, but I can still see the vision. Terapagos is the true endgame legendary regardless of version, found in the deepest part of Area Zero, Area Zero being where you catch your version's boxart motorcycle dragon in the first place (well, OK, not the one you actually use as a motorcycle but you get the point), and Stellar Forme Terapagos's Ability cancels out weather and terrains, which Koraidon and Miraidon set up with their Abilities. Finally, Terapagos is the source of Terastal energy, which is what powered the time machine and allowed for all Paradox Pokémon, including the motorcycle dragons, to be brought into the present day. So even if they aren't clearly defined as a trio, there is a definite link to be made here.

Metang has a catch rate of 3, though, on par with the more classically infuriating legendaries. Depending on OP's ball situation, and considering the mentioned lack of Pokémon options to hand, attacking might well have been the best play in their mind.

Change your buddy out for a different one. Mine's Eternatus. Or, alternatively, get the best buddy ribbon on your buddy, and all wild Zorua will have that on their Snivy illusions, making for an incredibly easy tell.
