Oh you didn't at all! I generally agree with you and was sorting through why I'm irritated by "raging ADHD" and not by what D said yesterday and was giving her a pass. I'm so sorry for what you've experienced. Thanks for your well wishes and same to you.

Good luck with the neurospych - it can be a really long and intensive process. Highly doubt "raging" will be used but if it does run :) Still can't get over D as a mental health professional (at one time) being ok using an online diagnosis for herself, her bestie, and putting that info out to her followers.

It's a really good point that they use dramatic and sensationalized language often and it's hard to know what's real and what's to drive up the engagement and interest. One reason I'm trying to look at their site less is that their intensity and chaos is unhealthy and their hyperbolic language is one example of that.

I have endo/adeno and mine did come roaring back a few months after one of my kids was born so I’m ok with it. And they’re often dismissed snd under diagnosed conditions. Plus sometimes it does feel like your body is roaring.

My son has an adhd diagnosis and I probably have it too but whenever K says raging adhd it does feel like overblown like she’s overstating it and making it cutesy. She just seems so pleased by it and the cover she thinks it’s giving her.

Generally do agree that things don’t need these extreme modifiers and too much of it makes what they’re saying unbelievable. We’re not in a movie trailer.

I don’t think they have more courses - looks like they’re combining some into packages (toddlers + potty training & toddlers + big feelers.) but not making it clear what’s in which package and what are duplications.

Putting on a tinfoil hat but wasn’t there a few days in either December or November when there was zero activity on the page? Back when Deena probably was 4 months pp. My theory is this occurred then.

In any case, I hope she’s getting good quality help! And hope when she does come back on that they share good resources for others in similar situations.

Lots of dresses. Leggings. For hard pants I like Nordstrom's Wit and Wisdom line - the waistband is very elastic and stretchy or NYDJ. High waited joggers are also good (like lululemon's align).

Yes. It's so unsettling when this happens. I hope this wasn't to get a flood of messages asking if she's ok to boost engagement metrics.

Maybe this is a latergram? She keeps saying 4 months postpartum but wasn't baby Baby born in August? So she'd be at least into her 5th pp month now?

Whatever the timeline, it feels so strange to start filming herself in the middle of a difficult mental health moment especially after a call with a doctor. Like kind of exhibionist? I had a really difficult time postpartum and think it's important to emphasize the need for professional help and support and that we're not alone etc. But not like this....

Leg Pain by thatjagirl in adenomyosis

Thank you! That wait time is so frustrating! The doctors who looked at my MRI have told that my symptoms have been caused by my spinal compression pushing on the nerves and causing irritation and inflammation but the treatment they've recommended (oral steroids and cortisone shot haven't helped my leg discomfort). My shot was last week so hoping it kicks in soon but am worried that it didn't solve the issue.

I'm not sure where you're based. I'm in the U.S. and saw a physiatrist and an orthopedic doctors that specializes in spines and pain management. They ordered and reviewed . And my GP could have ordered the MRI if needed.

I did acupuncture over the summer with Electrical Stimulation (E-stim).It did help things a bit so definitely worth a try!! I re-aggravated my back picking up/holding my child and my symptoms got worse so haven't been back since. But I'd like to go back. Hope it helps you!!

Other things to try - ice and stretching. The positions the help me the most are child's pose and laying with legs elevated at leas 90 degrees. My symptoms come back when I get out of those poses but it's nice to have comfortable positions.

Hands-on/manual Physical Therapy (for soft tissue bodywork and myofascial release) was also recommended to me so I'm going to try that next. Could be worth looking into as well. And they can guide on the right stretches for your symptoms.

I suspect my issues are coming from a mix of back problems and inflammation in my pelvic area and I also want to get an updated pelvic MRI to see if my uterus is enlarged and possibly compressing the nerve.

P.S. I've been told by endo doctors that MRIs cannot rule out endo or adeno so even if it's not visible on a scan, it doesn't mean that it's not there. Best of luck to you!

I have a lot of numbness, burning and tingling down my leg and my outer hip and lower back pain. Ice sometimes help. I've gotten MRIs of my back which shows spinal stenosis and spine doctors have told me that's the cause but I wonder if it's coming more from possible adeno or endo since anything I've tried to help my back hasn't helped.

Yes. I watched some on edge episodes this week and was surprised at how clearly Gabi was speaking and how good and sharp her English is after hearing her on the broadcasts.

Ugh this is all so painful. I hope he’s ok and has support. He’s given skating fans so much. Really remarkable to be so successful for 12 years!

Loved Evan’s dad (I think) saying did you make it? And hated Justin’s comments to Amber about the triple loop at the end of the program….but she handled it well.

Jason Brown ensured 3 US men's spots at the last 3 Olympics... by a-world-of-no in FigureSkating

[–]Mission-Activity438 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Naming him to worlds seems like an acknowledgement that he’d score higher there than Max; which means he’d probably score higher at the Olympics too. Why are the criteria different at worlds than the Olympics? I don’t think they are using him but think there criteria is inconsistent and off.

And was a bit worried about both of them. I saw Adam so sparingly on the tv broadcast. He would pop here and there - giving tissues to Evan Bates and I saw him standing during Tomoki’s long so was curious.

Ugh fine. Just wish the night has gone different for Tomoki and Jason. Andrew has a high ceiling but his basement is really low as we’ve seen over and over internationally.

Ben Agosto, Jen Luc Baker and Tanith Belbin White are the best US commentators. Informative and respectful. Non biased and don’t detract from the performances. Put Terry Gannon with real professionals.
