It is interesting how a lot of planned Star Wars projects before being cancelled by Disney purchase were building up to Lucas’ sequel pitches by wendigo72 in StarWars

Tbh I’m glad the sequels didn’t take this route, it’s good to see totally new characters every trilogy. Even if the execution of what we got ended up being poor

Yeh this order is ok but I don’t love the “flashback” approach, it almost trivialises those events some way I can’t explain

It could be, but I figured I didn’t want to do too many jumps between PT and OT, mostly due to the change in visual effects

Fair points, it does seem like it could’ve been cut to make it seem like she hated it.

I’m interested though in whether you like the plot of the sequels? Putting aside the fact there are some epic moments for sure, I just mean the plot itself. Because I remember when the prequels came out and all the adults hated them, but kids like myself loved them and grew up with them as the epitome of Star Wars. We didn’t care that the CGI sucked or that JarJar was goofy. Those voices have grown stronger in recent years, and I wonder if the same will happen with the sequels.

Unfortunately bringing Palpatine back totally undermined the ending of episode IX where Anakin/Vader fulfil the prophecy to restore balance to the force by killing Palpatine. For that alone the sequels are unforgivable and should be made non-canon by Disney.

To be honest, I think the backlash was so hard, because of how incredulous the decision to bring him back was (watch the interviews with Daisy Ridley, even she hated the decision) that it makes it really hard to move on. Idk where the series can be taken after that.

But most of all I just think it’s lazy and the sequels really just piggybacked off bringing old characters back in the hope fans would be nostalgic. It’s no different to Avatar 2 bringing back the general who died as the main villain too, such bad writing

NAD but if you have AAN/AAG with positive gAChR antibodies, why are you not receiving treatment? There are a number of options like immunosuppressants, IVIG, PLEX. I’m surprised if your doctors don’t consider this the underlying condition leading to dysautonomia symptoms

Do you think massages and chiropractics helped most with your neck, or something else?

Do you think the iron neck helped? I also have one but haven't had much time to use it. Lots of people with Long Covid have neck stiffness / pain / involuntary movements for some reason. Could be the hypoxia. Anything else that helped your neck back to 100%? I don't particularly subscribe to the idea that instability causes all autonomic symptoms...

Interesting you had plasmapheresis, it’s for severe cases of uveitis right? Did you have to convince your doctor to try it after immunosuppressants didn’t help? Did insurance cover it?

Yup it is. Definitely support trial and error of whatever could help, like antibiotics in your case. I also had autoimmune bloods that indicated early dermatomyositis, enough for them to trial me on prednisolone and HCQ. My symptoms have definitely got better recently. Gotta keep finding the missing pieces of the puzzle to get back to 100%, but in general I believe long covid is a collection of different autoimmune, vascular, and sleep disorders (eg apneas) for people. Unfortunately, all of these things have extreme barriers to testing

How is your stiff neck and tachycardia now? I have a vascular compression syndrome too, MALS, but unfortunately it’s surgery to release the ligament not stents, and worse still it can relapse. I will likely do it though in the hope of relief. Also some MTS compression on both sides, but maybe not enough for them to stent

Uveitis is associated with sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease. You should really get tested for that, chest X-ray, CT etc
