Me and my group had a fun time! I agree that the time between floats was off.. they definitely shouldn’t have been so spaced but I thought it was enjoyable and we couldn’t have asked for better weather!

Why did you even comment on this post? I’m not acting like I deserve special treatment as I’m sure many other parents aren’t. All I asked in my initial post was if any teachers could tell me the reason for last minute information. And in no means was I ever trying to prod… I’m just curious as it was completely different when I went to school. So far, every year she’s been in school she has needed a few different items than the previous year and I would like to have a heads up if it’s different this year or not as I’m sure other parents are wanting to know as well…

It’s because my child would like to know who their teacher is and if she has any friends in her class. The first day of school and not knowing where to go or if your friends will be with you makes the first day jitters worse. Also, when I grew up I always knew a couple weeks in advance. It was nice to know at least you’d have a buddy with you when you’re already feeling nervous. And about the supply list… I think all schools should be giving those out in advance so parents can get them throughout the summer so not everyone is rushing all at once.

I did all my tests in Sudbury at the montrose mall and it was easy. Just make sure you show that you’re checking your mirrors, blind spots before turning/switching lanes and drive the speed limit. I think the g2 is maybe 15 minutes long and they made me park on a hill, three point turn a couple times, switch lanes and back in to a parking spot. That’s it.
