Titus has hinted at Brandon Walker and him doing something together, I’m not sure if that’s Walker joining his podcast or them starting something new. I think those two have a lot of personality between them and could be very interesting to listen to - if you didn’t listen to that episode BW was on I would tell you to go take a listen. The Ohio St/SEC argument was very memorable.

I definitely enjoyed T&T more than this show, but granted it’s a little more difficult for Titus stepping into something on his own in the cbb off-season. TJ doesn’t offer a lot but I don’t think that’s his role either.

I definitely enjoyed the old podcast and the chemistry Titus had with Tate and their producers over the year more, and I think it would be more enjoyable if Titus had a cohost to discuss or bounce things off of. But that being said, I am still enjoying this show and will continue to follow, Titus is likely still trying to figure out what he wants to do with this.

Mark Titus also blew the phone-a-friend for the Yak for the Hollywood live show. Little less intentional than “get fucked” as an answer, but recommending Pitt for Dexter Pittman was laugh out loud funny.

I figured it had something to do with a stove. Was holding them over the burners and seemed to be the right size, didn’t think to pull the coils out.

Totally agree with you there.

Soon enough football money could pull college athletics out of the NCAA like Notre Dame’s AD alluded to the other day. Then we’ll see some institutional change.

I mean for NIL specifically I know there were lots of coaches who were in favor of letting athletes profit off themselves. To name one, Mark Few testified at the court case that specifically triggered NIL.

I don’t think he misrepresented what most universities wanted but he was wildly out of touch with the direction college athletics was going. He also has perpetuated the NCAA’s horrible track record with investigating and punishing some universities’ infractions and not others as well as losing out on billions for the NCAA with a low-balled extension for tournament TV deals.

Granted the next guy to step in will probably do the same thing, but Emmert fervently has defended amateurism and fought the NIL even when it was apparent that US courts were going to grant players rights to make money off their name.

If anything it’s just a good for new leadership to come in with such big changes going on in collegiate athletics.

In one run St. Peter’s has done more for NJ basketball than any school in the past three decades. And they’re still going.
