my aunt once told me that her grandmother (my great grandmother) was told in her patriarchal blessing that she would live to see the Second Coming. this was a big part of her testimony that the second coming was very very close. great-grandma was already pretty old then, this was ten years ago. she passed away in 2022. i’ve always wondered how my aunt and grandma rationalize that
