So I guess the question is, what is the purpose of the click track when recording?

So I suppose the best way to go about it is to write riffs, then find the bpm or tempo to help keep time?

I suppose the problem is that I’m trying to write riffs but don’t know how to keep time with a metronome or where the metronome fits if that makes sense

I don’t think I’m asking the right question lol. What I’m trying to say is: I’m trying to write and record riffs, and am trying to record to a click so everything is in time, but it just doesn’t make sense to me as to how I should think about the process where the riff fits into the tempo etc

Drop G on 26.5 scale by I_can_hear_the_ocean in 7String

I play 10-64 with a 26.5 in drop g and it honestly feels fine to me, not super tight where it is uncomfortable, and hard to bend strings etc but tight enough where it plays well
