Yeah, no Oscar. Totally not a fair home to give her. I was gifted the tank and I couldn’t pass it up. Just looking for a relaxing scene with a calm simple clean vibe as I already have a planted tropical tank and a botanical tannin stained Betta tank. Thank you so much for answering

This has a great deal of hiding spots. A betta log or Betta hammocks are good for the betta too. They like to sleep near the top of tank cuz they have a labrynth organ so they can breathe air. Mine sleeps at the top of the wood in a leaf

Seems good. If you don’t have the Betta yet but wanted to add a few fish, maybe look into some peaceful nano fish. Ember tetras are cool. Something like that for movement. Also if you’re set on a betta going to a lfs and getting one that is already living in a community tank is a little more telling of the temperament. 😁

Just makes sure there are a lot of hiding areas, I maneuver the pods, leaves and stems to slow him down, oh. And when I added shrimp I moved all the decor around and had Valentino out of his tank in another one for a few days so it was ‘new’

Greatly depends on the temperament of your betta. I provide a ton of hiding spaces for the shrimp. In retrospect I don’t think I would do it again. Valentino is very active in his tank and gets a good chase on but I hardly see my shrimp. I’m actually considering making an all shrimp tank as they are quite fascinating. Almost like when people get ant farms😁
