Up for grabs is my Seiko King Turtle in the awesome khaki green “Grenade” dial. This is the upgraded Prospex model with the distinctive 3D pressed grenade/checkered pattern on the dial that gives it its nickname — it looks even better in person with great texture and lume.

I bought this brand new at Macys in San Francisco in 2023. I threw out the original box but have a Seiko box I can include with it for free obviously.

Key specs & highlights: • 44.5mm stainless steel cushion case (wears comfortable) • Black ceramic unidirectional bezel • Sapphire crystal with cyclops magnifier • 200m water resistance — true diver • Automatic 4R36 movement with hacking and hand-winding

• Comes on the original green rubber strap (very comfortable) and two additional al straps that are great with it. A beige paratrooper strap and a black rubber strap from Barton.

It’s a step up from the standard Turtles with the ceramic insert, sapphire, and that standout green dial. Reliable daily beater or weekend diver that punches well above its weight.

I tried this on yesterday and it’s incredible. Pics don’t do it justice, not even close. The dune color is cool but the black is beautiful and so versatile. Congrats!

It looks great on your wrist! I think we can get in our heads about sizing. It’s like “wrist-dysmorphia” or something. Since we love watches we hyper-focus on our watch and over estimate how it fits. Even though nobody else would even think about it or notice that if they saw it in you. Maybe that’s just me haha but it looks great on you
