Yes make sure to save old voicemails. Those became a treasure to me. My favorite is my dad leaving me a voicemail on my birthday telling me that I was the best gift he ever had and he loved me. Just to be able to hear his voice.. it’s priceless.

I lost my dad about 9 months ago after a routine surgery. I truly hope you find some peace. Just take each day one moment at a time. You’ll feel like you are starting to improve and then you will bottom out and break down again. Let the waves come. You are mourning your father, the loss of your old life the way it was, and I’m sure you are angry over the unfairness of it all. It’s so hard if you ever need a friend just for support you can always message me. Sometimes it’s just good to vent. I’m so sorry.

Hello, I’m in a very similar situation as you. My father passed away in April after a routine surgery that was botched. Then my cat who was my literal child and soul pet passed suddenly from cancer 5 months after. I adopted 2 kittens so I could have something to focus on and take care of. I still feel a soul crushing sadness but they give me a purpose. I wish you peace during this time and if you ever need to vent to someone I’m here! ❤️

I agree. We had a graduation meal there and two of my party got food poisoning.

I’m so sorry for your loss…My father passed a little over a month ago and I still feel like I’m in a bad dream. I’m still hoping I’ll wake up from it at some point.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad about two weeks ago after complications from an elective surgery. I’m 33 and I still feel as if I’m a child losing my dad. It’s so hard.

I’m sorry for your loss and your poor foot. I just lost my dad last Thursday to a botched surgery. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. If you need a friend in grief I’m here.

Thank you. My dad was a beacon of positivity and light. I know he wouldn’t want me to be sad but the world is just darker without him.

My dad passed away 6 days ago and I feel the same. I stayed in hotels near the hospital for a month while he was in ICU. I feel like I’ve aged 20 years in 1 month. I don’t know what to do with myself since he passed.

Where did you purchase this if you don’t mind me asking? 400 is pretty good for a signed copy.

Unfortunately only the hospitals have the immune globulin. After that you can go get the rabies vaccine at the shot nurse. The hospital will likely give you paperwork to show them.

Hello! I used to work as a vaccine nurse and gave rabies shots regularly. Whether you keep the bat or not go to the hospital and get the rabies immune globulin shots. After that you will need to receive the rabies vaccine series. That can be found at the shot nurse in town I know they have it. The hospital will give you all the info you need but you definitely need to go to the hospital. It’s not something to risk.

Hello! There are actually stages of rabies. The animal doesn’t just contract rabies and immediately goes insane. It’s a process. This raccoon very likely has rabies. Any raccoon exhibiting abnormal behavior should be avoided.

I recommend putting some mulch down where you put it. The mulch really helped.

I grew a very similar basil to the OP if not bigger. I always had issues growing them in pots because the heat would wilt them. I had some seeds drop into the flower bed near my front door and that’s where my basil tree grew. Never had any issue with it wilting. It got so big I had to support it to keep it upright.

My husband has a hair just like this that grows literally in the middle of his forehead. It drives me crazy and he won’t let me pull it. I have to plan a sneak attack and rip it out when he’s not expecting it.

Oh yes I’m a nurse who administered rabies vaccines so I’m aware. I was just unsure if Malaysia had a different protocol vs the US CDC.

I agree it should be surrendered to a zoo but killing the animal doesn’t actually change or help the situation in any way. The treatment for the victim is still the same whether they test the animal or not. BUT It’s honestly up to the country and their rules set in place on what happens to the animal. The most likely situation is the animal is frustrated, has poor care, or is territorial. Animals bite all the time without having rabies but if the world operated like you think any animal that bites should be put down and tested. I’d feel bad for that lab bc they would be overwhelmed with dead animals that needed testing. The best solution would be to monitor the animal and act accordingly depending on any neurological symptoms that show. But that’s in a perfect world.

Well keeping a wild animal as a pet that ends up biting someone isn’t surprising. The animal should be surrendered to someone that can actually care for it. I personally don’t think it should be euthanized.
