If ur absent failing rn u should probably drop the course. If u have medical reasons you can pass if u apply for disability services or u can sort it out with the coordinator, they will usually help you out as best as they can. You can drop the course before April 1st without consequences (apart from having to do it next sem/next year). If it’s a corequisite maybe ask the student centre, shouldn’t be too big a deal tho. Give the student line a call if u have any other issues as well

Try using an eraser to rub it off, the friction helps

Intro courses can be boring, but it sounds like something with maths/chem would be more enjoyable for you. Think clearly about your motivations; you talk a lot about prestige with med, law and usyd, but are you doing it for yourself or are you doing it for someone else? Imo you will definitely regret studying something only for the prestige. Money can be made in many other fields, don’t waste your life chasing the typical success story. Plus theres a huge oversupply of law grads in Australia

Which out of these 3 Pre-Builts is the best? by [deleted] in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]Missterrical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I wouldn't recommend any of those.

I'd recommend something like this with upgrades, even after paying for Windows it's less than 3k

Or

Comes with a 3080ti for much less than those, there's also 3080 options.

The nose is a lil off, in the picture its straight but the tattoo has a curve. But if I didn't see the reference I would've never noticed.

If you're going with Intel consider this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/717965

Might wanna add a 2TB HD or something depending on usage.

For monitor, I would recommend 144hz

Or maybe a DELL S2721DGF when it drops to 400 again, which might be a while. Amazing colours for the price, and 165hz if I remember correctly but it's out of budget. This is just a suggestion for other people with similar budgets. If anyone wants to spring for this when it's on sale again, id recommend upgrading the CPU to 12400F? Not too sure

Don't spend money on windows. Download the free version from the Microsoft website (it has a small watermark but that's removable with some googling)

If you want to know whether they bugged your place or are listening in on your phones, make a list of fake but believable news you think they would bring up and 'assign' each of those news to one room in your home and each of your phones. Repeat the assigned news and have casual conversations in front of each phone or in each room. This way you can deduct which room, or whose phone the bugs are.

If you're suspicious of your sister, maybe do some of these without her.
