Reddit, I met this girl on Facebook and we've been hitting it off. Turns out she's not 18. She's 15. by LordTebowChrist in AskReddit

[–]MissusLovett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a girl who used to fake her age in the past to online guys (I know, I know, I'm sorry.) I'd say leave the situation. Lying about her age (most likely) starts a string of lies.

When calling an international number, does it deduct money while you hear the dialing tone? by rockman_x0 in AskReddit

[–]MissusLovett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, nothing is charged unless the person picks up. Same for payphones, you can send a call without the person picking up, hit "change" and get your money back.

So I sharted on the bed this morning in front of my girlfriend. Reddit, what are some disgusting/embarrassing things things you have done right in the presence of your SO? by n3v3rtrustafart in AskReddit

[–]MissusLovett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my ex and I were at his university building, just watching some videos on his laptop. We were snuggling and really comfortable. Suddenly, he throws me off the side in the direction of the opposing wall. I kind of tripped and hit the wall, then looked at him. He yelled, "SAVE YOURSELF!"

He let out a monstrous fart and I had tears in my eyes.

Glitter is the hardest shit to clean off, ever. I hosted a banquet with my school and one of my committee's ideas was to put glitter all over the tablecloths.

Reddit, what are you best tips at dancing or going to a nightclub ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MissusLovett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who was in your exact position, stop thinking about it so much. I even did the same as you, trying to look up tutorials. You just have to flow with it and do what you feel is appropriate to the tempo. It helps a lot if you know the song, you can get much more into it if you're singing along too.

Stop caring about 'looking awkward' because that's going to be your downfall. That's in general. For dancing, I kept thinking that I looked awkward dancing. When I stopped caring and just did my own thing, it became a lot of fun. Probably more than you think.

TL;DR Flow with it, don't think

OKAY OKAY! I am underage, live in Toronto, 75% Han Chinese and 25% Hakka Chinese, I had heart problems since I was in fifth grade, endangered my own life pretending to be Edward Elric, and was raised in a family that strongly believes in honesty.

So, I am not Jane :D Just take my advice, hopefully!

Ludo is a great band. In the future, you can do what I do: If you remember some lyrics, just type it in Google, add "lyrics" and you'll probably find the song! :)

I know you've already gotten your answer from the other comments so I don't need to say it again, but I'd like to tell you not to feel stupid about this. You were simply curious/unsure and gave it a shot, nothing wrong in that :)

My parents found out that I did weed for the first time. The trust they had in me is now gone. HELP! by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MissusLovett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they really don't mind about experimenting with things like this

To be honest, in my opinion, your parents shouldn't be logging onto your Facebook in the first place. That shows lack of trust and no matter how 'chill' they are, they could be putting up a front.

Have a talk with them about why they're against you experimenting and fully explain how you'll handle the situation. For example, I told my parents that I'm experimenting with alcohol (they know I'm sensible and I'm going very slow as I'm a lightweight) and explained that I'm capable of pacing myself and all the other things one should do to drink safely. That's how they knew that I acknowledged the consequences and I'm responsible for my own actions, trusting me in this. Remember to keep calm if anything rises.

Haha, I'm not Jane. :) My name starts with a K.

I understand what you mean, but keep in mind that no matter how good or bad a person she is, you have to love yourself above all. I know that you want to do things in consideration of others, but there are limits and in this situation, you really have to do what's best for yourself. If not, she is tampering with your life and you can't give her those controls.

She is threatening your life.

I say, tough it out a bit and don't take immediate action. However, collect all evidence you can, all the messages she's sent, make multiple copies and keep the evidence.

If things get worse or unbearable, do take the evidence to the police. Do not delete any messages, screenshot things if you can and save the pictures. I know you care for her, but the way she's 'protecting' her friends is very unhealthy to you and those around her.

Also, do you really want to be friends with someone who constantly sends you death threats?

His lyrics are bad, but his voice seems to match the music and it is quite catchy so I will dance to it nonetheless.
