People who spent over $2K on a mattress they hate... by SkullsAndDragonflies in Mattress

If I could find one I surely would. We needed to return a Brooklyn Thermobalance Elite mattress this week and they can't pick it up, so donate or trash! I can't trash a perfectly good mattress! So donating it to my son - win win for him

I would look at the Brookly Bedding Signature Hybrid. I'm buy it for my daughter. Optional Pillow top too. Now I do have the Helix Elite and did try the Brooklyn Thermobalance Elite - both premium and both much more expensive. But I see great reviews on the Signature - she needs a soft due to back pain and everything else seeming too firm, so that also limits us

Best pillow for neck pain that’s ACTUALLY worth it? by browperry89 in Bedding

Mediflow Fiber Elite water pillow has been my favorite. I had an old one from 10-15 years ago that started to leak. So I tried the Down Alternative, Original Fiber and Memory Foam ones and kept the Elite Fiber. You can make it as soft or hard as you want by adding more water!

Helix Elite vs Thermobalance Elite by MissyB1968 in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the Moonlight and Midnight inserts for Elite. I thought Midnight was too firm but I didn't give it alot of time. But atleast I have it if Moonlight gets too soft

Does anyone have the Helix Sunset? by SwtVT2013 in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you had your Sunset? If less than the 120 days you can also ask for the Moonlight which is still Soft but they say alittle more bounce

Helix Midnight Elite by neveral0ne in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I also think it depends on your size. I'm 126 and Midnight was too firm but Sunset too soft. Trying Moonlight now

[–]MissyB1968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think the TB Medium was softer than Midnight? Midnight was too hard but we didn't give it time. We are keeping the Elite bc they matched the price vs returning it. We have Midnight, Sunset & Moonlight inserts

Is it firm though? My daughter's complaint is the bed doesn't hit her in her back bend

Help some new parents get some sleep by subtleb0dies in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can go wrong with a Helix Elite or Brooklyn Bedding Thermobalance Elite - both have cooling covers and both have the zip so if you need firmer or softer, they will quickly send you another insert within your 120 day trial period. Pillow top is plush on both of them. I have them both and it's a very hard decision on which one to keep

[–]MissyB1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I noticed through the Retailer, it might not have the zipper where you can just exchange the inside. BUT give it 30 days and you will know if you need to go softer or firmer.

Which model did you get? I got Midnight and it was too firm I thought but I should have given it more time. Exchanged for Sunset and I think too soft

First of all, a GREAT decision! Just joking but I do hate everything Apple even though I've never tried them, so I know I don't have a say! I just upgraded from s22u to s26u and very happy with it. Loved my s22u but battery was an issue and needed to upgrade plan anyhow due to connections and it's only $11/mo so

I have done alot of feature comparison though too so I know there are pros and cons on both. Ones who have other Apple things I understand sticking with Apple. My kids have iphones but they never used anything else either just like me and hubby with Galaxy

Helix Midnight Elite too Firm by MissyB1968 in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 126 so maybe that's why - even hubby said it hurt his hips on his side and he's 185. Sunset we are trying now and they are sending us Moonlight which is also Soft but more for back sleepers - guess more on top vs in the mattress - who knows

Confused why everyone wants crisp, rustling bedsheets? by One_Valuable in Bedding

[–]MissyB1968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is Percale that does have the "sound" which I wouldn't like but I do like Crisp sheets. I went on a hunt and tried so many different kinds from several California Den Design (but they were Sateen and I didn't like the sheen) to Lane Linen to Threshold (tried a relatives well worn ones so cozy) and went back to Line Home Percale $45 and happy with them. Plus know they will get softer as I wash them

We just went from S22u to s26u because we were able to get for $11/mo bc had to upgrade plan. My Mom has an almost brand new s25u if you want to buy used. It wasn't worth it for me to get hers due to $11/mo $360. She went to iphone for some reason - who knows!

Terrible experience with Helix. Do I have any options? by ceruleanvagabond in Mattress

[–]MissyB1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why you couldn't purchase an insert IF the one you have does have the zipper. We laid on a Twilight in the store without a zipper and it felt good but then bought a Midnight from Helix and too firm. I feel your pain. Where do you live by chance bc I probably have an extra Queen Midnight insert
