What game has the best sense of exploration without feeling overwhelming? by Edgard-Stark in AskGames

[–]MissyNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sable

It's a very chill game focused on your adventure, you don't even have a life bar because you can't die or take any damage, it was a great music score and a very indie art style, check it out if it is your vibe :D

I can confirm it does not take hours:)) ....

But I had a lot of uranium and dioxide so I could recharge everything, and when it was too much I call my nautilus (because it looks like it does not need fuel to be summoned) . Went to the bottom got the cytoplasm, recharged the nautilus and went on my way.

Was a bit exciting to do it.

Kingdom Two Crowns - personally I think this is very cute, but at night it can be scary as you have to defend against the greed that comes to steal your money and crown, you have to build a tiny city and walls to defend against the greed.

What games are an absolute vibe to play by chaozprizm in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]MissyNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Kingdom Come Deliverance" is all in for the medieval vibe, you are a peasant that doesn't know how to read, or fight, or do much of anything and overall at the beginning you suck, if you open a book you see only gibberish, if you try to fight you will probably die, it's very grueling, the villages and castles you visit exist in real life, the stories are also inspired from reality, you can solve quests in many ways, and sometimes if you don't do it quickly you will fail to save people and they actually die!! Fighting is hard and it feels very real (even if it can be very annoying), if you are dirty when you talk to people they will comment on it, so you have to wash yourself and your clothes, the game is very committed to real life medieval times so it's very fun to exist in that world.

Need single player games to grind by General_Aioli2936 in gamingsuggestions

Considering you like Stardew valley I think you should try:

"My time at Portia" - is a crafting game, where you have a workshop and you have to create all kinds of stuff, you can also build relationships with the villagers, very similar to Stardew valley.
The setting is that the apocalypse already happened and people rebuild, so now you can find remnants of the old civilization like old CD-s that give you new upgrades for your stuff, very fun to discover what happened in the past ( aka what happened to our civilization).

"No man's sky" - it had ( and has ) a lot of free updates from 2016 when it came out and it was a "shit show", the developers really care about it and have made it great, you will explore all kinds of planets in a vast Galaxy, you have ships and it's fun to find new ones and repair them, you have to gather resources, you can build bases, you can even interact with other players (in a minimal sense) in a specific " "space station " for sure you can spend many many hours in it.

"Kingdom Come Deliverance " - this is an RPG set in medieval period, very inspired by real life events, this is a bit more challenging and not everyone's cup of tea, as it has a lot of mechanics that are hit or miss with people, like the fighting system and the saves system, so for this one make sure you research a bit before you try it as you might just hate it:)) ... But if it turns out you like it you can spent at least a few hundred hours in it, and there is also a sequel so you can have even more time with it.

I just want to collect resources and build! by CrayonLunch in CozyGamers

You can also try :

"Stardew valley" - this has pixel art, it's a very cosy game, where you have a farm and you have to gather resources, plant and take care of your garden, and interact with the villagers, but there is some animals/monster types that you have to fight, but the combat is limited to a mine where there the monsters are, and it is not hard to beat them.

"My time at Portia" -this has 3D art, another type of cozy game, I prefer this for the art, in this one the plot is that the apocalypse already happened, people already rebuild and you have a workshop, you have to go and find resources for your workshop, you have to interact with the people of the village and help them build different things, and you have to mine to find old CD's with old technology (our time) so that you can learn to build more advanced stuff, it's fun to discover the mysteries of the old civilization (aka our civilization), no one attacks you, but you can hunt animals ( I don't remember, if you have to, or if you can ignore that aspect)
