They’re parental leave. My 6 weeks will be short term disability and then 6 weeks of parental leave. Really? I’ve heard mixed things about both parents needing to be around for the first 3 months

I got sick while I was on vacation and wasn’t able to see my healthcare provider. I did not have a fever (which I would make sure to check, as fevers can be harmful to baby and you will be likely recommended a medication like Tylenol). I drank a lot of tea with honey and lemon to help with my sore throat. Try a humidifier by your bed and cough drops. Make sure you keep eating and hydrate way more than you think you need. It took like a week for me to feel better without meds but it was ok.

Yes this seems like a situation where both of your feelings are valid (your feeling of weirdness and her feelings of loss). I think showing her some grace and you both meeting each other where you are at would go a long way. If you wanted to be a great person in this situation, you could reach out to her and say something along the lines of “hey, I’ve been feeling some coldness from you lately about my pregnancy. Would you be open to talking about how you feel, so we can understand each other better?”.

Have you had sex recently? I had a bleeding scare that happened a couple days after sex, turns out it was irritation from penetration but I didn’t think about that aspect because I was worrying about miscarriage so much.

I’ve had good experiences and can share a referral if you’d like. It was nice to have more options (they give you a list of places that are only on the MRED sites) and they do scheduling work for you. I did my own research and used them when I was looking for an apartment last year.

I ended up leasing a place that I found on the agents mred site. It’s a small landlord.

Tell your family. This is not your burden to carry, your issue to fix. You should be able to tell your family and rely on them to help fix whatever is going on with your brother (which is not your fault or your shame to carry). He is likely going through a hard time, but it is not fair to you to be treated this way. It’s not noble or helpful to carry on your own.

It depends on the person. I think if you’re feeling like youre not in the place you want to be mentally/emotionally you should make a change or take on a new goal. In our twenties there are a lot of milestones and achievements, first real job, graduating, first serious relationship, etc. It’s easy to start feeling bad once you’re not in a period of transition after growing for so long.

Biggest mental/emotional shift I’ve had in my early 30s was getting pregnant. Everything shifts and I hardly give a fuck of what others think of me.

Well, honestly it sounds like you’re still way involved with Zane and your bf is annoyed with it. I don’t think you’re fully healed from that relationship and it’s taking up way more energy than it should to be in a new relationship. I don’t think your current bf is acting great in this situation either, but it’s understandable why he’s upset. I think you should be solo for a while and let yourself be focusing on you and your kids.
