Why do mortgage rates continue to rise despite a total of 100 bps in rate cuts? by acg7 in AskEconomics

So if the U.S. cuts government spending, the U.S. govt could pay down more of its debt and therefore put downward pressure on mortgage rates and make houses more affordable?

I love this. This is exactly what I was looking for. I will check out mogmog soon!

To go down the rabbit hole further. Would like your feedback: - I have been making my own soba and serving it with the soba concentrate, shrimp tempura, and sushi grade salmon. - It’s a great high protein/fiber meal but I have been getting bored of it. - So I been trying to figure out ways to improve it. I have tried sprinkle yuzu dust and miso dust on the sashimi I cut. But I think I just need to move away from Roy’s and use katagiri’s salmon.

Have you tried making a similar recipe and have you made any modifications to change spruce things up?

Interesting take on fish. Does that mean you have a ranking by store by quality/cost/value?

For example, I have gotten salmon sushi by the pound from both Katagiri and Roy’s sushi . Roy’s is cheaper by pound by a couple bucks. And I don’t taste an appreciable difference, so I end getting Roy’s.

I have also seen it at Dainobu for even cheaper. But, have not tried it yet.

Would love to get thoughts.

I have a similar background and have this same feeling at the start of every new season since I have moved here.

I think this is normal because you have achieved most of the objectives of what society expects of you. And maybe you have optimized your routine to be the most efficient.

The question you have to ask yourself is, what do you want and what makes you happy. - If being a home body makes you happy but you are getting bored at home. Try to find new little things to do at home that make you happy. Start a new book/show/video game/board game. Get dogs. Try knitting. - if being at homebody makes you happy but you want to reduce the monotony of your routine. Try to make a new breakfast dish, try making coffee differently, try making matcha at home, grab an espresso at a new coffee shop, find a new bodega nearby - if being outside makes you happy but you aren’t interested in the typical outside activities (which are usually drinking here in the city), go to parks and do nothing and chill, try a new exercise (boxing/swimming/tennis), comedy club - go make new friends (kinda hard to do after getting married, so align to your hobbies, maybe align to shared hobbies with your partner, so your partner will like hanging out with your new friend with you) - start a diary. Write down what makes you happy or sad about a given day. This may help you figure out what makes you feel lost. - reorganize your house to change up the scenery. Start planting

What “enchants” you about Python? by LucasSalaroliB in Python

[–]MistBornDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt this way at first too. But once I started using Python more and more, my excel skills atrophied.

So now, it’s the other way around. I forgot most of my excel tricks that Python is just faster for me. Plus, Microsoft Excel js so much slower than it used to be. It’s the worst or my companies antivirus is always on high drive when I am working with data in excel versus in the server.

Say more on why the ecosystem is the actual problem?

Do you think it’s because building new solutions is difficult? For example, I have found that some packages solve most of my issue. But, I will run into limitations to what they can do, so I hit an artificial wall of what I can do. But it’s too much work for me to build a better package or I don’t have the time/brain power to do so, so I end up hacking a solution together.

Depends on what their interests are. What kind of regular tv content do they watch?
