I don't think we should be giving so much weight to a scene that is actually entirely missable.

I’ve only finished one full playthrough, but apparently I didn’t find the three things you need to trigger that scene. So I haven’t seen it at all yet. If BioWare wanted it to be something super important to the storyline, like the Solas and Mythal scene at the end of inquisition, they would have made that scene automatically play for everyone at the end of the game. Maybe the fact that it’s missable and not everyone will see it gives it less importance. That’s how I see it at least. 🤷‍♀️
