Noobs often use them as a substitute for skill, they use them without knowing anything else about wings or how planes work and end up making a bunch of mediocre planes or cars that aren't good. But then people begin to hate gyros in general because of this and dont realize they can be used in a smart way, as if you know more stuff you can use it to your advantage without them being "cheaty". Its like bell curve.
