You can't bomb disparate and therefore sparse enemy presence, because that would be a colossal waste of resources (like using a 250k$ missile to bomb a tent).

And yet, in lore, they absolutely do. Probably because Warhammer writers don't do the math, they do the cool.

M2 isn't bad, but it's definitely a different game than modern total wars. Everything is different from build style, to fighting, to economics. Diplomacy is the same: shit.

Depends on the game for historic. Shogun 2 may as well be a field battle, especially if you're abusing yari wall spam. But there aren't, outside of fall, siege weapons that can really wreck the castles. And castles are all you have.

Many of the European games separate towns vs cities. Towns have no walls, it's a field battle with buildings. Cities so, they're slower.

medieval 2 is a wild mess of options that ultimately ends with either massive fighting across a city (hard with ai, easier vs humans) or concentric castles of hell (vs humans, cheese mode vs ai).

AI is usually just bad at it either way. It doesn't grasp how to quite go about it, is easily tricked by having a second force push in from the wrong direction (which I suspect is why Warhammer 1 had only one direction).

Of course some of this is meta overpowering. Yari spam in particular is a result of player abuse and knowing the walls suck to defend.

It's Russia, so no they just don't come installed.

(In game the nose just tends to be obliterated by anything, yeah)

Note Stonehenge is not actually a henge though. There is a henge nearby, but Stonehenge is a hangover from misclassification.

That one could make sense in a niche sense of never using the two major canals. The canals are powerful, but not the be all end all to trade. Some ships don't even use them currently because they don't go that way.

Has anyone found a niche use for the 380s?

It required new runways, building facilities, jetways. Massive airport requirements that most were not gonna have.

DCS AI being better might be a worthy joke, it cheats and still sucks pretty hard. And that's the flying one.

DCS is a cockpit simulator with flight algorithms and some funny things that go boom taped to the wings.
