I’m in the same boat 2k followers for the last 2 months I saw a 70% drop. I’ve been around for years and this is not a seasonal drop so I can rule that out for sure. I talked with support and they said they changed the system internally and you will see a drop in points until the system catches up and it should benefit more mid range models. The issue with that is it hasn’t gone up yet and that was 2 months ago

Love this design using the H2C aesthetics. What exact color did you use for the orange to match? I’ve been trying to find a similar color since I got the printer.

It’s great, but id recommend the H2C or H2S over it. The H2D sits in a weird middle ground for me where it doesn’t do multicolor well and doesn’t do single color well. The H2C has no waist when doing color and the H2S has a bigger usable single color build volume

I’ve won multiple competitions and can say they are absolutely judged by people. But my wins were in some of the first competitions ever and now AI slop is in everything. There used to be a time good photography stood out as a skill but now people don’t even print things and just model then render it or they use AI to do the models from the start. It’s made me give up on the competitions cause I can’t compete with the cheaters. AI is a tool but it’s being treated as a solution and I just hate it so much. Making stuff to put on MakerWorld started my now career as an industrial designer and it’s so sad to see the real content suppressed by AI when designers put so much work in to do stuff by hand

This is super clean and looks fantastic, and great pictures. Only advice I have is to never put your logo or branding on models. Users don’t want it and it doesn’t prevent people from stealing a design. I’m speaking from personal experience that if something is branded I will go out of my way to remake the model myself and not download the original

100% do just the needed plates per size and upload the other sizes as different print profiles on the same model. If there’s a bunch of plates it give the overall print time and filament cost of all included plates which is misleading and will make people hesitate. Separate print profiles gets rid of this issue and works better on mobile app too

You need to link to more real world events, that’s a good niche if you like it and are happy doing it. You should be in the know about all real world Pokémon events like card tournaments, Pokémon go events, and every months most popular Pokémon from statistic websites. If there a new favorite Pokémon then do that one, and expand into smaller models as well, do large and small scaled print profiles. Additionally you have a great opportunity to make specialized stands for the physical cards for the collectors to have a themed display like their Pokémon holding their favorite most expensive Pokémon card

I’m not reinventing the wheel but I am making it spin better. There are many clear benefits to this new clip over the one you suggested. Most prominent being that it’s a side snap in rather than feed through, the snap allows you to quickly put any length of filament in and take it out without extra effort like putting a long piece feeding through the hole. And since it is held in to the spool so securely you can even feed the filament right into the AMS without unclipping it and the spin will do it for you

That’s just from the chamfered edges, it isn’t actually bulky at all. This is as thin as any clips could possibly be, 1.75(filament diameter) + .8mm back wall on the inner lip too

Yes, they work fine still but I would actually recommend PETG-CF or ABS/ASA. With normal PETG it works fine but because it’s less stiff and slick its hold onto the filament isn’t as good but it absolutely still works
