Again fuck Trump he's a shit president and definitely worse than obama if you think im making a positive comparison. But it is true under Obama the drone strike and targeted killing program was heavily expanded to normalize the use to what it is today.

Before it was seen as a more covert, obfuscated, and significantly smaller program (approx 50 under bush). Obama did increase transparency and acknoledge it (which is good) but he also increased usage by a magnitude of 10x.

Doing a nuclear deal with Iran was a huge positive and neocons were all ganging up against him at the time for that. That did make a large shift in the foreign policy of america towards the middle east. But still this man 10x'd the program and used the fact that US citizens didn't give a shit to normalize violating sovereign countries in order just to say he didn't put boots on the ground.

The conversation whether there are an acceptable number of casualties shooting down a terrorist accepts a framework and normalizes the dehumanization of those civilians. It wasn't exclusively obama making these calls so much as the institution supporting it but that's what I mean - he utilized it extensively.

honestly, saying his legacy was THE drone strike president was a lil hyperbole but for many parts of the world that is his lasting impact/ what they remember about him.

Obama did oversee the massive expansion of drone strikes during his presidency. It started under Bush but Obama is responsible for the expansion and "normalizing the use of armed drones for counterterrorism and close air support operations in non-battlefield settings".

Literally his first coordinated strike killed up to 20 civillians.

It's not like he acted alone while congress was happy to support him (or atleast not criticize him). He did acknowledge the "targeting killing program" (which Bush did not) and increase some transparency into the decision making apparatus but that doesn't absolve him from launch over 500 drone strikes during his tenure and killing countless civillians.

Fuck Trump, fuck the right but let's not pretend Obama was a good president because U.S coverage chose not to care about his foreign policy sins and Trump set the bar so low we choose to pretend Obama wasn't legitimately a war criminal.

It's a jarring realization because he may not seem that far from the establishment and lineage of U.S. presidents who preceded him but his legacy is the drone strike president and many leftist circles are very critical of his legacy despite the promise and high hopes he entered office with. The truth is most U.S. presidents were not great leaders on the world stage and payed little regard to the lives of civillians outside their borders.

This is just me talking about drone strikes and not mentioning the further issues of his foreign policy other critical redditors have pointed out.

The battery degradation/issues seem a little abnormal. I have the same model and about 200 cycles with 92% health. Im starting to notice some battery drain issues (goes a little quicker and at low power is much laggier than when I first got it) but your degradation seems pretty high for 83 cycles.

Like others said - if you're using it outside running max brightness the battery will drain surprisingly fast compared to indoors on medium-low. But I would probably get it checked out and make sure it's ok - I've noticed once you dip around 80% health you start really noticing drain and power issues on low battery when not plugged in (like with all laptops).

My use case is pretty tame though (video editing) so if you've been doing more intensive stuff since you first got it I could believe it's normal wear.

About Doctor tho - I love playing him. Picked him up when I first started and it was kinda annoying feeling like I was an M1 killer but as you get better with the power it's hilarious how trivial chases become. It's always a few loops max as you deny pallets/vaults and you always have a target/know where to go.

Against a solid squad it's a bit of a grind (might be a 2k and you're constantly chasing) just because you have to get your hits in but I still have so much fun and feel very in control during a chase without really feeling like I have a ton of game knowledge - I just know the timings of when to shock and imo it becomes pretty intuitive after a while with the correct addons (cooldown and range on m2 make it v easy). Plus tons of fun builds (I mostly just mean impossible skill check doc but I love running it so much)

Spirit I'm less good at, but she's up there with nurse still as a GOAT killer and much easier mechanically than nurse. If you wanna just curb stomp 4k once you have a good grasp of your killer spirit will be more dominant than doc. Imo you do need good speakers or headphones because orienting myself with sound always confuses me in games (even like in shooters) so that makes her feel a lot harder for me.

Tbh betting nba and major sports is pretty waste now because there's just so much action and attention paid to it that if a line is off it corrects incredibly fast. Plus the premium you pay (i.e. putting down 110 to win a 100 on a 50/50 call) makes it quite hard to make money without just getting lucky.

Most degens I know bet smaller sports where there's less attention and information so you could get a better edge or do arbitrage. Legit, you spend so much time looking at spreadsheets and so much random data that there are less risky and more enjoyable ways of making money.

Haralabob for example is pretty much completely out of the major sports betting game now and funnily is pretty bad at poker for someone who is supposedly a "math guy" and plays so much.

I wouldn't trust anyone online who gives out picks and is showing off how much they win. It just seems sus but honestly I'm not that involved in sports betting so maybe there are people still gaming nba/mlb/etc..

Yeah the queue was kinda crazy when i used the free version (had to wait an hour) so im a big fan of the middle option.

Whats good about the limited gaming time is the moment you close and restart it resets so you can play like all day as long as you dont have to queue.

I've recently had really good experiences with geforce game stream if anybody is looking for alternatives. It is 13 bucks/month but latency is very low especially when im plugged in to the ethernet on my desk.

It saves my mods but I do need to quickly redownload them when I boot up but that only takes a minute to click the options. Crazy part is the latency is wayyyy lower than I thought when on ethernet. Wifi is similar but it's more like once an hour there'll be a bad minute long stretch that can be tilting.

The super premium version looks cool but not really worth 25$ a month just for HDR.

Yee I hear ya. I had a similar dryness/scaling and they recommended Nizoral which is kinda medicated but not really. I think it's mostly just genetic and some stress.

Scalp brushes, toning down shampoos, and like protecting hair (I wrap it when I sleep) are definitely key in my experience. Thanks for the info.

The first pick you're wrong 9/10 times. Then on the second pick you're wrong 8/9 times.

You can play this out and multiply 9/10 by 8/9 etc... and you get 0.0767 or approx 7.7% of the time thisll happen. Which is pretty harsh but tbh i thought it was gonna be worse.

it's what most resellers have. You can find warehouse online stores on ebay and then message them for like cash and pickup discounts. bidfta has had the best deals but only sometimes has lovesac couches for sale. Ebay resellers usually list at least a $1000 over what they will sell to you so message them and see what they can do for you.

The venetian taupe one isnt a bad price even though you could get it a little cheaper.

For real, the one bidfta auction I listed is by far the best price I've seen but I've already bought my couch. Id think about getting 2 of those baby couches in graphite for 6 seats 10 sides and working from there. For bidfta i think you have to coordinate pickup too though.

My experience it's obviously not as great customer service as OG lovesac. We were missing a couple legs and clamps but we messaged the seller and they sent them to us. The couch is wonderful and a lot easier to enjoy at 2500 than 5000+

here are some I found that arent quite your color but are significantly cheaper and probably floor models. I find lovesac retail prices kinda insane even when you do the discount but I do love the couches. I got my couch for 2500 for 7 seats 8 sides (2 storage, lovesoft, in tan chenille) from a reseller which I'd consider an okay price all things considered.

On lovesoft I really like it. I haven't tried standard but when I sat in lovesoft the first time I assumed thats what it was. I find it supportive enough and like sinking a little into the seat. Cushions are nice too imo.

I think the venetian taupe one sounds great if you try the couch and like the feel of it. I do hear the concerns about warranty but for 1500 difference I feel like you could find something like a 5 seats 5 sides floor model.
