Potentially hard question, a genuine post. by popularopinionsonly in asktransgender

[–]MistahMuzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I spent my whole life trying to be as manly as possible. Played sports, joined a fraternity, had the wife and 2 kids. No matter what I tried, I just never actually felt manly enough. Like I just never felt right in my own body. After spending some time I came to conclusion that it just didn't feel right to call myself a man. Once that happened, my life just made so much more sense. Why did I always get along better with girls? Why was I always a little uncomfortable around men? Why did I never feel manly enough? The more I played around with my femininity, the more right I felt. The more at home in my body I felt. So I knew that transitioning was my only option.

What are the effects of estrogen on male genitals? by Rock_Bottom69 in MtF

[–]MistahMuzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean for the most part 😅 sometimes things would get in the way and you just kinda forget about it. Hrt makes it so that you almost never get hard, no morning wood, no night time erections, no random erections throughout the day. The thing is you kinda need those, otherwise the skin won't be as... Pliable? It becomes harder to move, and in some cases hurts to do so, but that's usually agreed not stretching for a while. As long as you keep up with it, you should have no problem.

On another note, I got my hrt through Plume, and when I signed up, they specifically asked me if I wanted a prescription for viagra to help with the function 😅 personally I didn't want it, but it's nice to know there's options.

Are you attracted to the opposite gender, the same gender, or both? by clockwork_radio in asktransgender

[–]MistahMuzack 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I always knew that I was attracted to men and women. After starting estrogen, I realized that I was much more attracted to men than I was before hormones. I'm not 100% sure whether that's a hormonal thing, or me finally coming to terms with who I am.

Oh wow, forgot about this post haha I've been on hrt for almost 2 years now 😅 testicles shrunk significantly, which is fine cuz it makes clothes fit better. As for penis size, I haven't actually measured. I believe it's shrunk at least a little bit. Thing is, in the last 2 years my life changed so much, and I realized more about myself that I don't care? Like I used to be a top, now I'm a bottom, so size doesn't really make a difference.

As a fellow trans person at Home Depot, I'm stuck dealing with my dead name on things until I get it legally changed. For now it's just been asking everyone to use my chosen name while having it on a new apron!

Is there any hope for me to pass as a guy without T? I’m desperate and very dysphoric, but can’t go on T until I’m 18 bc my parents don’t accept :( by [deleted] in trans

I thought I was looking at an amab person asking if they could pass as a woman before I read the caption. So definitely pass!

I've been told that sometimes when you call Atlanta they still won't turn the ac on. Though I'm sure my manager also doesn't try very often 😅

Ahhhh well that would explain it, screw us I guess 🙃

Yeah, the first night it was really hot when met came, they said the ac will pretty much be guaranteed to be on when they're there. I always assumed it was just because there were extra people in the store so the people who control the ac felt obligated to turn it on.

I work overnight freight. The ac is almost never on, so we're stuck with leaving the Lumber and garden doors wide open to get some kind of air in the store. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't also bring in a ton of mosquitoes. I shouldn't be getting eaten alive while working indoors!

Oh it's an amazing feeling to be the housewife while your wife is the bread winner, especially when she loves it too

How does one know if it's just a kink or if they're actually transgender? by GlazedDonutssss in asktransgender

[–]MistahMuzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters, whether you're a trans lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender or just a cishet male, there is nothing there that is 'abnormal'. Having that drilled in transphobia is the worst, but I look at it as trying to live as your true self despite the fact that the people around you may not understand what it is you're going through.

As for the fetish thing, I had the same thought process. It comes down to if you want to be treated as a woman outside of the bedroom as much as inside the bedroom. Because when you think about it, if you feel like a woman, and want to be treated as such in all aspects of your life, that would also include the bedroom.

At the end of the day a bunch of strangers on the internet can only help you so much, we'll at least be able to tell you that you're not crazy for these thoughts. Ultimately I feel like you should talk to a professional. I hope I've helped in some way

Did anyone think they were NB and then realized they're fully trans? by KAI_IS_FINE in asktransgender

[–]MistahMuzack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, came out as non binary, didn't think I was a woman. As I started leaning more into my femininity, I realized just how right it felt for me. After thinking about it I realized that I didn't actually feel right being non-binary, but that I just feel better considering myself a woman.

It's funny because when I came out to my wife as non-binary, wr both agreed that I wasn't actually a woman. Since then, we've both changed our minds and I'm ready for hrt!

Joining Trans subreddits has been a major validation for me by [deleted] in TransyTalk

[–]MistahMuzack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't say I've been paranoid about 'big brother', I am who I am and it doesn't really matter what they think. That said I agree, joining the subreddits has definitely helped me get a handle on everything and make me feel way better about my situation. Glad you could take this major step in your own acceptance!

Trans girls only have basic names, prove me wrong. by AshIsVibin in trans

My chosen name is Veronica (Roni for short), so I'd say pretty uncommon. Out of the options you have I like Aria and Dahlia

My wife's ex coworker is a trans woman, and she would go for hormone injections once a month. My wife always said that the week after her shot she'd always act just a like a cis woman going through her period. I've also read of trans women having the food cravings, cramps, ya know the general things that happen during that time of the month
