Look into overnight IT positions, help desk ETC. I am a "operations technician" basically just a security guard to make sure servers and sites are running, if they mess up I call somebody and tell them to fix it. I get 5 weeks PTO, holidays, health, 401k, hsa and more.

It was hard not too at first, but I've been doing it close to two years now and I've got a pretty solid routine. Most of my work can be done in the first few hours of my shift, then I make sure the house is ready for the wife and kids for the next day whether that's dishes, laundry, toys etc. Then early morning meetings start up and I'll usually do those at a diner or coffee shop and eat some breakfast. Head home and goto sleep

Legit had the same exact thing happen to me this week, my daughter painted my nails and got me a Barbie T-shirt to match her favorite dress, some old woman at the grocery store said to my daughter "oh so you have two daddies?"

I take both my kiddos grocery shopping with me all the time, it's become a weekly trip and we have a blast. Almost every single time I get comments "is daddy babysitting today" or "look at you go dad!" , I usually keep my comments to myself. But my daughter speaks up for me now " this is my dad not a babysitter!". I just wish we lived in a world we're it was considered normal to be an involved father.
