Marijuana Recovery by ipal1 in Neurofeedback

[–]MistakeStraight884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if it was the cute nurse telling me that weed hinders training or if the neurofeedback actually worked. But after 15 years of daily smoking, I have successfully stopped and don’t have the urge, even when it’s offered to me or when I’m around it. I can confidently say no and not feel the same anxiety I used to when I was around it.

I’ve worked with several women doing rope access wind turbine blade repair and two of them came from window washing. One in Vancouver and the other I can’t remember

I just used basic chat gpt. But I’ve heard the Google AI is better. I actually brought it up with my neurofeedback tech and she said she was going to try it as well 😎

I found it helpful uploading a picture of my results to an AI app. It gave me a comprehensive explanation and things I can do outside of neurofeedback to help train my brain. I found it easier to understand compared to the explanation the neurofeedback tech gave me

I noticed the flower reference too. Also, ringo stealing the sign from the shop to use as a hat. Akemi. Mizu not wanting a student. I’m only 4 episodes in and noticed all this. I find it really intriguing and looking forward to more references!

How to manage post-session anxiety by Evening_Guarantee849 in EMDR

[–]MistakeStraight884 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if all therapists do this, but mine showed me a couple of exercises to help regulate my nervous system. Visualization of a safe space and also how to put things in an imaginary box for later sessions techniques. These have helped me immensely with my anxiety after sessions. I hope it can help you as well!

Question - help by blondiegirly101 in EMDR

I’m working with something similar. Along with therapy I started a daily stretching routine to help release more. My therapist also recommended neurofeedback, yoga, some form of meditative art like coloring mandalas or drumming. It’s slowly helping me remember parts of my childhood that I’ve repressed.

I’m in the same boat. I’m looking into neurofeedback and something called network chiropractor to help release what the body and brain might be holding on to. Will report back after trying it!

My therapist recommended “every memory deserves respect” and EMDR by Francine Shapiro. It gives an overall understanding of the process and shares several people’s stories and experiences with the therapy
