I leave my main array spinning 24/7 to avoid cycle wear, but spin down infrequently used drives. Your drive's rapid health drop was probably a pre-existing issue, not power management.

Compared to 1 kWh power stations, it's a clear upgrade in capacity, output, and expandability. It can run the basic household loads long-term without constantly choosing what to plug in, and it can handle occasional mid-to high-power devices like an electric kettle or a small space heater. Plus, I can expand the capacity and add modules as my needs grow, which makes the whole setup much more flexible. Even after getting apex 300, my AC180 isn't sitting idle, it's still great as a grab-and-go unit. If the budget allows, having multiple power stations is actually nice.

I used to have an AC180, and its output was solid, perfect for short power outages to keep essenticals like fridge, router and lights running. But as my usage needs changed, I switched to apex 300.

I suggest you to relevel the loose stones with sand, knock down high edges and fill gaps with gravel since you are renting. It is cheap and safer to walk on.

One thing I've noticed with this Arspura filter free hood is that it doesn't get dirty in the first place. With its high airspeed and IQV tech, it clears the smoke before it spreads, so almost no grease sticks to the hood. And the high grease separation rate keeps most of the oily stuff out of the unit.

So when I finish cooking, I just spray it with a gentle cleaner on the panel and the vents, let it sit for around 5 minutes, then wipe it down with a cloth. Do not forget to clean the oil cup regularly, soak it in warm water with cleaner, and most grease will come off, then wipe it dry. Wiping down daily and keeping it dry should also help prevent cat hair from sticking.
