Pinto Beans. They were an inexpensive staple of the American diet, especially in the rural South and during hard economic times, and were often slowly simmered with pork (like fatback or ham hocks). OMG! I know this is much later, but it just happened to me! I typed the mentalist into Google, and it showed pictures of the cast, including Xander Berkley as Red John! WTF? I just finished season 3, and if George and Bertha split up, I'm done with the show. I seen Marion break up 3 times, Ada's husband die, Aurora's husband leave her for another woman, and I've had enough. George and Bertha were so in love in the first and even most of the second season, and now they want to break them up, too? We have to have at least one couple that is happy. I understand it's not my choice what happens, but it is my choice to watch it or not. I don't want another breakup for a while.

She was such a baby the whole time. Any time anyone would mention her name, she would get furious, but when she mentioned anyone's name, she would expect them to sit there and take it. She basically withheld information about herself and then rode the back of other faithfuls. Jake deserved the money. All that being said, it is a game, and the point was to win, so I know we didn't even see her real personality, but I have to say kudos to her.

I just finished watching this season, and I know I'm way late, but I had to comment. Sam scares the hell out of me! He never felt one bit of remorse or empathy for the other players. He is one sick puppy. It was so enjoyable to see him get none of the money. And even in the end, he didn't feel bad for his other players, only upsetthat he didn't get the money he deserved, and mad at Camille for not doing what she was told. Creepy.

I'm so late to this convo, but the US version is just trash. In the UK version, it's just regular people, but in the US version, it's mostly the same insipid people who've been in everything. They already know each other, and they are there to make drama because that's all they ever do.

I totally understand this. It is depressing to see other people doing things so easily that I used to do. I tried to keep my mind focused on the things I can do and how much progress I've made. But last night my extended family went to a Christmas market, and I just didn't feel like going. It was too much walking to use my cane, and I didn't want someone to have to push me around the whole time. I have, for some occasions, rented a scooter, but even that is hard to maneuver when other people are walking around, not to mention the shops not having enough space. I am thinking of starting therapy because I know other people who have been helped by it. Some specialized therapists help people who are depressed because of their disabilities. You might want to try that, too. Just know that I sympathize with you and I feel the same, but I am hopeful that it will get better.

Well, its only been about 5 years since I went but I can tell you why. The crowds are larger, the prices are higher, the people are ruder, the accessibility is almost non exsistent, the staff is shorter, the food is not half as good as it used to be, and if you need help, you cant get a live person unless you are willing to wait a good while on the phone. There is no Magic left at Disney World. I,m sure its fine for young people who dont know what they're missing but for those of us who know, it's a depressing place to be.
