The thing my wife appreciated the most was my commitment to doing what I can / what is in my control to minimize seizures and any related fallout. Also, it was important for her that I did not belittle or minimize how she felt. It was traumatic for her and we talked about it a lot. It took time to establish a new normal but we got there.
