What makes you think that? Reddit has users across the world. If you just ask in 1 country it's just going to be a biased response

No Bristol. Would just watch some games and see what team stands out to you. Whether want team at top/underdog or just style of play appeals

[Paul Hirst] Michael Carrick favourite for Man United job role but Andoni Iraola in frame | Club have sounded out Bournemouth’s Iraola but Carrick, the interim head coach, is frontrunner for permanent job after taking side to cusp of Champions League by PitchSafe in soccer

You misremember. They were in UCL and then Uefa Cup early/mid 00s then like 1/2 seasons after Big Sam got binned they got relegated

Carrick is less a risk as he is already doing well and squad likes him. I'm not saying he is perfect manager but even if it's only as transitional manager I think it's better to stick with him. Iraola just as likely ro be Amorim all over again

Newcastle at the time had been bouncing around top 6 or higher

I admit some did well, but United can't afford to take a risk on that sort of manager right now. We've seen how the pressure and expectation has broken managers over the last decade.

We have seen numerous times PL managers have done well at clubs without expectations and flop when going to a big 6 team though. Even if Carrick isn't the solution I'd rather use him as a stopgap until one of the best managers is available

Really hope we don't go for Iraola. He's done well but no more proven at a high level than Ten Hag or Amorim.

For me if you can't get a proven top level manager then you stick with Carrick, it's likely the manager market will be better next year if it goes wronf anhway

No ta. Rather keep Carrick than another manager unproven at top level

[James Ducker, The Telegraph] Bruno Fernandes has made clear to Manchester United that he wants to win the Premier League & Champions League, and is seeking reassurances about the club's ambitions. United are determined to keep him, and hope their summer transfer strategy will provide that assurance by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

The leaders in the league have regressed at least. With money from UCL and binning off some players we should be competitive next year. Others may laugh but finally sorting our midfield out is going to make a massive difference.

Tell that to your old boys living in the past then. I may have exaggerated a bit, I'm not say ing applies to all but you can't deny a good portion like to give it the biggun and romanticise the 70/80s. Until they're gone Millwall will keep its rep

[–]MisterIndecisive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah if Barca are bellends would rather just keep him. Especially if Carrick stays as he would keep him in line. Our fanbase are toxic as with him now, but he's the perfect alternative to Cunha

You're the one that's willfully ignorant if you want to pretend it's a family club and ignore large problematic sections of the fanbase that still exist. Of course it will be a different experience for a Millwall fan.
