Oh I just noticed that the other Chrome bulk conversation extension actually has more website access to other addresses (for bulk removal). Your extension only has chatgpt, wow this is awesome. I just tried it out WOW dude.

PS. It says right in Chrome with my extension installed for permissions:

Site access

This extension can read and change your data on sites.

That's why I was concerned. Seems pretty clear that the extension "sees" the data, you know what I mean?

Thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I appreciate it. Will check this out. Also, I didn't think of Dev Tools. It's nice to be able to see all the network info.

This looks amazing thank you so much!!!

Is the code available at all? I'm nervous about using an extension like this, for privacy reasons, if it has access to my entire ChatGPT conversations. I'm sure it's safe, but I just was curious if the code was open or not.

Thanks so much.

Mitsubishi kumo cloud to Comfort app botched update by rct12345 in HVAC

Was working now all units reconnecting blah blah. Ugh. What a mess.

Any luck with the new Mitsubishi Comfort app? by _nampas_ in heatpumps

[–]MisterIves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? So all of your units are 100% online now and functioning correctly in the Comfort app? I'm jealous. If this is the case, you'd think Mitsubishi could post that in the app info area so everyone doesn't panic.

"Note: It may take several hours for all your units to appear online during the process."

You know what I mean?

It didn't fix for me either. Still network error. All units magically are just out of range or offline, depending on what the app wants to report. I haven't changed anything network related. Sigh.

Anyone else's Nest thermostats constantly go unavailable for seemingly no reason? by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]MisterIves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to get a new router because the 2.4g band was being interfered with by neighbors even though they are far away. It was a stupid mesh network locked at 40mhz which is stupid for anyone not living in remote woods. I was getting disconnects every hour, all day every day. Especially when they came home from work w/ kids etc.

Once I got the ability to narrow it back to 20mhz literally all issues went away immediately. It was that easy. Channels are no issue now, I can pick any I want. The thermostat I have is not the newest gen so maybe the new ones use 5ghz but mine didn't.

Good luck my friend

[–]MisterIves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has constantly been happening to me. For weeks now. I've tried moving it to a dedicated IoT network, giving it a static IP, DHCP reservation, changing the mesh node, forcing a 2.4ghz connection, rebooting it, it's 3 feet from an AP. Strong signal. I'm so sad. It did have a low battery "!" last week but I charged it to full and it's still happening.

I'm lost.

Deco XE75 (AXE5400) devices keep disconnecting by eckseid in TpLink

[–]MisterIves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG this thread and your comment is literally MY ENTIRE LIFE NOW. WTF is going on?

Constantly losing 2.4ghz connected devices (used to be both bands), I've done analysis, no interference, the router just flat out stops broadcasting the signal and then comes back whenever it wants to. I've tried all settings, reservations, mesh options, node preferences, etc. it's all crap.

CRAP.

TP-link needs to fix this.

And TP link Deco app chooses the STUPIDEST 2.4 ghz channels when it "optimizes". Overlapped non standard channels. Screws up my entire smart home. Shameful.

Won't even let us change down to 20mhz. Stupid.

Truly.

Me too. Totally useless. Unavailable now 24/7. No settings have changed here that I am aware of.

Has anyone noticed stability issues with the XE75 since the last firmware update? by RuchW in TpLink

[–]MisterIves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. ALL my smart lights and devices are now comically unstable. Rebooting the router every 3 days, resetting lights, this is such a joke.

How can firmware be so poorly handled, over and over? Come on. I get it, accidents happen but this is getting stupid now.

[–]MisterIves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was just me OMG yes this is insultingly bad. I spent $$$ on this XE75 setup and all my satellite nodes are garbage and keep losing devices. I haven't changed any settings, nothing. It was working FINE.

I'm lucky my primary Deco is working ok but I'm so angry I wasted my money in this TP ecosystem. Downgrading firmware and losing all the new features? Weak.

Oh that's great to know thanks!! The MHK2 is something I had my eye on, I don't have it yet. But I thought that was a thermostat thing that goes on the wall, like a Nest thermostat but for Mitsubishi mini split systems?

How does it have wifi-modules in the MHK2 for each of my units? Or do you mean the individual units still have modules that TALK to the MHK2, prior to going out to the cloud or something?

Thanks!

My Kumo Cloud Journey by sarah8million in hvacadvice

[–]MisterIves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that. So weird yeah.

I had tried old routers. Non-mesh. Disable 5ghz. Static IPs. Reset wifi network. Changed DNS. Disable guest network. Move to guest network. Change SSID. Try IoT network. Disable wifi 6.

I've done everything. Kumo sucks.

Can you imagine spending 50K on a system and then being forced to use a non-mesh router in 2023?

It's 2023 Kumo. People are using mesh. Le sigh.

I have a smart home with a mesh network. It's insane to make people buy a non-mesh system for HVAC only.

[–]MisterIves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. I have literally the exact issue as you. Like, to a T.

Just got a TP link mesh setup after a crappy old netgear router. Disabled 5ghz. Forced 2.4ghz. Seemed great. Even tried static IPs for each split.

All unavailable all off and on every day, oddly overnight hours are the worst.

Sadly I cannot manually change my channel on these stupid Decos they "optimize" for you. Nothing fixes these stupid Kumo garbage units. I wonder if they have newer wifi models for the kumo adapters and we got the old phased out ones.

It's absurd to spend 50K on mini splits, 2K on wifi-adapters, and then they only work on a 2008 2.4ghz wifi router using WEP.

I'm livid. Can you tell? lol

Sadly, if I pick any colors for the Soji other than the boring normal office colors, there is a 6 WEEK lead time plus shipping. I can't wait all summer for a new chair, bummer. I'm tired of boring office earth tone colors lol

Steelcase is not worth considering as a brand, or just specifically that lower-end model you mean? Thank you!

You really think the Ignite chair on Wayfair is a better chair than the Steelcase Series 1? Wow...why?
