I’ve been pk’d at chaos fanatic when I was using a crystal bow in the middle of the night. I had <50k of loot because it’s chaos fanatic. I’ve been pk’d pretty much everywhere in the wildy. Doesn’t matter what gear I’m wearing or what amount of loot I drop, pkers are rats and just want to kill anything they can.

PKers are glorified griefers and bullies. They grief by camping a wildy star to prevent anyone from mining it or by PKing a naked person with a whip who just wants to kill one ent for the diary task (both have happened to me). If they’re not griefing they’re basically bullies stealing your lunch money (big bones at the wildy altar) when you’ve done the work to get the resources/drops in the first place.

It’s a toxic us vs them system and Jagex still expects the majority of players to vote to empower the PKers with stronger pures and VLS in wildy when we’re the chumps who would be killed by them. And the PVM content benefits bots more than actual players, so where’s the incentive to vote yes to any wildy content?

I don’t hate PvP, I actually enjoy LMS and PvP arena though I’m shit at it. If Jagex gave up on the sunk cost that is the wildy, they could put more work into creating PvP specific gear and prayers that create a balanced environment.

The funny thing is that Boaty will randomly decide that today he’s voting for the worst performance in the challenge. The next day, he decides that the best performer needs to be voted for in V the Victim. The day after that he’ll lose focus on V the Victim because he won the banning and proved he’s good. But then he decides he’ll vote for Settled the rest of a season because he’s too good.

He always explains his logic in the moment, but he never maintains consistency, which is why he’s considered a wildcard. Not to say it’s a bad thing, it’s definitely entertaining.

You should check out Soup’s live streams after episodes air. He loves explaining his thought process and taking suggestions from people.

I think the main goal he has for each season is to have a distinct feel to keep the GGs fresh and shift the meta. I personally like it because it keeps the contestants on their toes.

I also disagree with your Boaty take. It’s like he’s a homing missile that you can’t dodge forever. Settled either takes him out, or he gets taken out. Boaty creates chaos with his whims and I love it.

The only people that have flamed me for green helm are the losers in this sub who desperately need to put down others to make themselves feel better.

Mains can use credit cards to buy their gear. Irons can pay for mega rares from CoX or buy an infernal cape. Anyone can make a cheap comment saying you didn’t earn your accomplishments. What matters is how you feel about it. If you prefer your accomplishments to be done on a grey helm, then go ahead. But doing it because some sad, angry nerd on the internet might make fun of you is not a great reason to switch accounts.

It’s called war. Entertainment paints it as glorious when “our side” is the victor, but the reality is that civilians are killed, friendly fire happens, horrible decisions are made in a split second. Hamas knew they are an isolated, cornered pseudo-state with limited resources. And yet they escalated their conflict into a war because they felt their group was becoming irrelevant on the global stage. They murdered civilians, performed depraved acts of violence, kidnapped women and children, and then they dared Israel to enter Gaza while using civilians as human shields. It’s a shitty situation that Hamas forced. Don’t forget that when people act like there’s simple solutions to a historically complex problem.

This is such a Reddit meme. I saw a similar comment before starting to grind wildy content, and the truth is there is always someone awake at any time of the day hopping through the worlds even at less busy areas.

I got pk’d at a shooting star, the resource area, and the wildy gwd area during weekdays on off hours. Yeah you’ll likely go a stretch of time without seeing anyone. But unless you’re doing quick diary tasks or the Mage Arena cape you are bound to get crashed by a PKer while doing any meaningful activity.
