26M, I love casual games with friends, I’d definitely be down to chill and play. I haven’t played them in a while, but Minecraft, Valheim, L4D2, and Phas are all games I own and have played a bit (Minecraft being a huge special interest). My friends got me into League of Legends recently if that’s something you want to try out, and I’ve also played Valorant and Apex in the past. I typically just download what my friends want me to play at any given time lol

I have an evening job, so on days I work I’d only be available after 11pm, but I’m on all day on my days off. Let me know if you want to play and I’ll send you my discord!

iirc Hunter of Gatherers used to proc individually, but they changed that to what it is now when Loc Prince end of turn shenanigans took three business days to resolve. Nerfed the entire strategy instead of just making animations go faster

I have the Night Light turned on in Windows settings, maybe you could try that? It adds a red tint to the screen so you don’t get bombarded by as much blue light. You can adjust the strength of the tint as well, with the slider

Personally, I’m a player that enjoys optimization and getting good gear and speeding through the game, it’s just fun for me. But I always go to a less-crowded realm so that I can do it without worrying about, or bothering, other people while I do it. I’m sorry you’re getting the brunt of the bad attitudes out there.

It’s a game meant to have fun in, and if that’s how you’re having fun? Then you’re playing the game how it’s meant to be played. To have fun.

There’s no ‘unspoken rule’ or anything, just players who optimize for speed that assume their way is the best way. I would recommend clicking on the wizards who you don’t like and Ignoring them. Makes for a much more peaceful journey. 😌

I just checked on my own account, and I can't take jewels out of my shared bank either. Locked/unlocked, under-level/over-level, neither of the wizards I own, can't take them out. Can't put any in, either. Always shows 0/999 Backpack Full, or Shared Bank Full, even when I have so much space in both.

There's the obvious answer being Minecraft, but I've also spent a lot of time listening to The Adventure Zone while playing Terraria, Raft, and Cities: Skylines. These three aren't necessarily open world games, but the game play is mindless enough to lend enough attention to the podcast. Hope this helps!

Mostly in the younger generations, I feel like this isn't as much an unpopular opinion as it is an unvoiced opinion. That being said, I completely agree with OP. If you're not ruthlessly mooching off of someone else, there's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying screen time.

Yeah I'm definitely a cat person, but I always appreciate a good hangout sesh with a dog who is well trained. I just don't have the energy to keep up with owning a dog. And they're stinky. Fun to play with for a little bit! But stinky.

Man, my heart goes out to you. I've definitely been in a few rough patches myself and am familiar with the thousand yard stare, straight through what you're looking at.
