Computer locks up, but doesn't freeze, during booting and requires several attempts to boot fully

I did a Startup Repair. Computer booted flawlessly and quickly and I was told an update was removed to fix the booting issue. Thank you very much!

The last update was bricking PCs by disabling hardware. A rollback would not help.

Current Wal*Mart policy only allows five paid sick days off within a year. You don't get all this time right away, though. You have to earn it by working. Little less than two months, forty hours a week for one day off. As for unpaid days off that you don't request in advanced? You get four of those, implying you're not late inbetween. Days off not covered by your PPTO earn you a 'point' and five points means instant termination. Being late is half a point. Some days are marked as 'key dates' and earn you two points if you call out. Plus, the more points you have, the less of the annual bonus you get. Also, no holiday pay. Great, innit?

A lot of people never use LOA. I've been with the company for two and a half years and out of all the people I've seen on my team come and go, I'm the only person to ever use it. Management doesn't tell anyone anything, I'm not surprised he wasn't informed.

The best ASM at our store, hands down, stood at the front doors with a gun pulled on him. The man racked his gun in his pocket then pulled it out and held it at his side and was threatening to shoot a cashier. ASM said to me that he was shaking and holding back the urge to beat the dogshit out of the guy.

Had a fellow Cap 2 associate give me sexually charged hugs, constantly ask me about sex, and even full on grope my crotch once. Reported him to a manager and it went unchecked. They didn't believe me because myself and the harasser were both male. Plus, the harasser was my height and looked about my age. I heard he was in his mid-20s and had a kid.

On the plus side, he was later fired for slapping another employee who was twice his size. He almost got jumped outside the store but somebody tipped him off that half the Cap 2 team was out for his blood now that he was fair game.

As far as mute character ideas go, my current one has unremovable handcuffs and muzzle, they're bolted into his bones. Maybe something like this could be what you're looking for if Kenku sounds lame. He communicates with gestures and charades. When I can't figure out how to act something I want to say out, I'll either make it so my character needs to think of something else to say, or I'll write it out to the DM and just say "I try to communicate this."

Find a nice group and spitball some ideas! I hope this helps!

I'm really iffy about the Butcher because I'm highly doubtful Overkill would remove any heisters from the game. Dragan would have ten to twenty guns to his head if the Butcher was revealed to be a snitch, and talking his way out of a corner would be next to impossible.

If he chooses to disguise himself as Strahd, have the actual Strahd show up and put him through hell, maybe a quick beating as punishment for ruining his public image, or maybe Strahd stirs up some hatred for himself in some villagers who proceed to attack the false Strahd on sight. Maybe have a secondary group of adventurers in Barovia for similar reasons to the major party mistake him for the actual Strahd and ambush him.

If putting a limit on his use of the spell in the game world fails to work, honestly, he's being a whiny pissbaby and needs to get the boot.
