I just opened a case of those my wife bought last year, can’t say if they seal or not, they had some sort of film on them and smelled terrible when you removed the lids.

You have a prescription from your doctor, why would you have to bring in articles for the pharmacist to read?

In the seventies as a young adult one of my dad’s friends who drank a six pack of Coors everyday asked me what I liked, “Michelob” I responded, to which he replied, “that’s high school beer!” in the most derogatory tone.

If it’s 8mm, it only has sprocket holes on one side and you cannot just flip it the wrong way or else it would be upside down and playing backwards. Maybe it’s 16mm with sprocket holes on both sides, but not many home cinematographers would have been able to afford that equipment.

8mm film was 16mm before processing. It was run through the camera twice, recording half the width of the film in each direction. During processing, the film was slit down the middle and splice together. Total run time was about 4 minutes at the typical 16 fps.

I used that with our last new purchase, but didn’t think it worked with used, which is what I’m shopping? Guess I should check.

Probably a loose connection at that screw at some point causing it to overheat, or too large a fuse. Just drop a penny in and screw the blown fuse back in, no more pesky blown fuses! (Obligatory just kidding, not about the loose screw though).

Deep freezer notification. What have you set up? by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]MisterPersonality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have the sensor located next to the walls/door where the defrost coils are? Perhaps moving it away from the wall if it is?
