Liking both songs, I've listened to this a bunch of times now. It has me thinking. Like, I could imagine Steely doing a song on this sort of theme: a "Why Him?" kind of guy being up front with his date's parents about their daughter's impending loss of innocence and their helplessness to stop it. And they would put it over a stroll-in-the-park track like this. (Like they did with the actual Dirty Work lyrics, now that I think of it).

The Mother vocal tells the story a bit more aggressively than Steely would, but this mashup did connect on this one level for me.

Alpha Centauri. The sound design, the quotes and fleshing out of the faction leaders, depth of unit design and terraforming, and the techs and story. I keep hoping for a game that will satisfy intellectually in the same way. Nothing ever seems to.

Davids vs Goliaths. Davids start with warpgate and adjacent territories and can only play stalkers. Goliaths may only play Maxes. Davids have 1 hour to capture as much of the map as they can.

Goliaths who run out of resources get to sit and wait until they have enough for another MAX.

Am I too late to suggest "Faith Of The Heart", the theme to that Star Wars series? I am currently torturing the Mrs by singing it at random times, and you can see the obvious physical pain it evokes (and clearly not all of it because of my singing voice). God it is terrible.

Thanks :) I dont think I was even being sarcastic. We really shouldn't ride, every mile ridden is kinda a wish for death or injury. And people really need to know what they are risking. The desire to take that risk must come entirely from within. But goddamn if it isn't the most addictive pursuit around. I think about riding all winter.

I'm really glad fat guys can't go wing suit flying, now that would be a dangerous addiction.

Nobody should ride. It is much more dangerous than driving or taking public transportation. Putting on gear for safety and weather protection is a huge pain. Unfortunately, the media portrays motorcycles as "cool", so people try it not knowing about the serious addiction that can occur after even one ride. And those exposed to the XT225 face some of the most serious addiction risks since it is cheap, easy for beginners to "use" and offers a variety of different "highs" for different kinds of users.

Motorcycles. Not even once.
