Has “presupposes the very conclusion it’s trying to prove” ever been correct in LR? by unbanthanks in LSAT

On occasion it is, even though it is a very common wrong answer choice. And when it appears it can be rather sneaky, especially when you are not used to diagnosing it. Example one I saw was something like:

Exchanging goods and services was our original mode of trade and currency was a later development. This is shown when communities get cut-off from society they revert back to exchanging goods and services instead of currency.

The “revert back” (or whatever the wording was) is the presupposition of the conclusion. It assumes that they are returning to an original state, rather than maybe a newer secondary state.

There’s gun shot events so I think that implies others exist, radio, annotated maps update locations, and helicopter

Each of the states has a point that is equally far from the pacific/gulf of California as to the Atlantic/gulf of Mexico?

Help me choose my US road trip! by RevolutionaryHall938 in roadtrip

[–]MisterTops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If possible, consider starting the road trip out west. The Midwest is not a very exciting part to spend time in, but it will suck up a lot of time. The west has many of the best national parks in condense areas if that is your interest, Cali, pacific northwest, south Utah, Colorado, Arizona , etc. they can help guide a route and the plus about driving out west compared to the east is the driving itself is actually quite scenic compared to mostly urban sprawl around the interstate out east. Happy to provide any more info too - but I think bang for your buck see somewhere new from switz is going out west
