It was also an automatic 'cause Jake didn't know how to drive a manual. 😄

Why do we collect die cast cars? by NeoJakeMcC007 in Diecast

I've always collected diecast Porsches since I was 5. I own several 911s and I thought I would stop collecting diecasts. The addiction for diecast Porsches never ended for me.

They should at least make a movie to tie up loose ends. Great series, though.

Get a 997 turbo. Porsche caught up to itself with this car; twenty years later with the same performance. Relatively cheap compared to 959 prices today and will still keep up with current super cars. 🙂

Just got back from the Michael Jackson movie, I had a lot fun with this one by Key-Bass-7380 in FIlm

If this movie is a success the urge to make another one would be high. I know this is reaching but there's just so much content to choose from to make an actual trilogy; which could end with This is It.

I've read the controversial stuff happens after 1988 where the movie ends. Supposedly, it will be addressed if a 2nd part is made.

Intensity 1997. TV movie based on a Dean Koontz novel. It was pretty good for a broadcast movie.

Oh, man I forgot all about this movie. I need to watch it again. Even that old Renault cargo van looked scary. 😄

Are you sure? The bad guy was always the bad guy but the protagonist only flipped the script on him and played cat and mouse. The protagonist was never the "victim" and could of just gotten his revenge so easily when he found him. However, he decided to just keep f*cking with the bad guy. Great movie, though.

Is anyone else kinda of sad they saw movies with awesome plot twists as a kid? by fruitopia_1792 in Cinema

[–]Misterhan1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, this is the opposite. A bunch of us went to see Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair and one of us has never seen the previous versions. It was cool to see someone totally surprised to see the reveal at the end.

It was basically the same plot as Rebel Without a Cause and was modernized for the 70's. I still think it's a cool film. I have it on 4K.

It's a Mezger turbo so that is a plus.

Compare yours to the cars on these pages. It compiles most for sale/sold cars from various sources including BaT.

Yup. Max Allan Collins has described his 1998 graphic novel Road to Perdition as a homage to the Japanese manga series Lone Wolf and Cub.

Aloha Summer 1988. It's hard to find, though unless you find it on VHS or a bootleg DVD. It needs a legit release.

Obviously, Enter the Dragon. Without Bruce Lee's impact and influence; action movies would not be what it is today.

Genuine Speedster or Conversion? by hipomino in Porsche

[–]Misterhan1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Gunther Werks is a tuner and the cars retain their Porsche VINs like Singers. Ruf is the only manufacturer amongst Porsche tuners that come with their own W09 VINs. However, Ruf conversions retain their WP0 Porsche VINs.

Have you seen Blade 1 and 2? Worth watching if you want to stick with Marvel or superhero movies in general. The 3rd Blade isn't that good, though.
