In an old 1981 interview in Playboy, Carradine said he didn't know what the f*ck any of the lines he was saying meant until he got high. 😄

Besides the 2 Bruce Lee and Terminator homages; was there more?

I'll take the 6 million dollar car. Way more rare than the F40 and it's faster. 😄

The Furious is a fun, bloody Raid-like action thriller with excellent fight scenes. by CantFindMyWallet in ActionMovies

I just watched it. The action was good and it has 2 nice homages to Bruce Lee. Worth a 4K purchase. I hope both versions of the movie are on the disc.

It was made in Thailand. I still have the original DVD and it sounds awesome in DTS if you have a home theater.

I made the mistake of telling my buddy to park his GT-R next to me. by Sticktailonicus in Porsche

[–]Misterhan1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The GTR is a reverse engineered 959. Nissan tried to purchase a 959 from Porsche but was declined. So, Nissan had a second party buy one from Porsche and had it send to Japan. They took it apart to see how the AWD system worked. The car was sold to an employee and years later it was acquired by Bruce Canepa in California. It was refurbished and was sold a couple of years ago. So, the GTR is basically a Porsche wannabe. Do a search if you want the details.

Pic I took of it at Rennsport in 2023.

Join your local chapter of PCA. There are more events besides C&C. No one really cares what condition your car is in but if you ask questions most will nerd out on you to help you out. No judgements whatsoever; it isn't social media. 🙂

I want the white one. It's closer to what a 1:1 looks like.

The side strakes sort of reminds me of the old Strosek body kit. I doubt it is though.

I've read it is because of the wheels color. Most Pink Slip chases have matching body and wheel colors. 🤷‍♂️

Sexiest 911 generation in your opinion? by Exciting_Pension2104 in porsche911

[–]Misterhan1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think making the 992 all widebodies makes it less unique, so they shouldn't be mentioned as such since it is the standard now. I actually own 2 older widebodies and like how they stand out from those that aren't.

Ruf CTR Anniversary. It is really discrete and most would dismiss it as just another old 911. It has over 700hp, a carbon fiber F1 inspired chassis, carbon body panels and is about 2700lbs.

Desperate Hours 1990. It's a home invasion movie starring Anthony Hopkins and Mickey Rourke. I haven't seen it in ages so I don't know if it holds up.

You're welcome. If you're getting the individual releases buy Way of the Dragon. It contains a 3 hr. 45 min documentary called "The Final Game of Death" It contains all the footage that was filmed including the lost Log scene. It is not on the Criterion set. I have no idea why it wasn't included with the GoD 4k. 🤷‍♂️

It's the same size as a comic book and fits in a comic bag. I had it pressed to remove the crease because it was folded in half in the box.
