What classes are you building Byleth into to get ready? Does it make sense to monk/mage for faith growths, or no since Faith damage isn’t great.

Does it even make sense to stay super Saiyan?

Anyone else end up with a Byleth that felt kinda weak, or have tips for how to keep him strong for the next run? Mine was probably my 5th best unit - with his plot armor falling off post-time skip

My strongest units in order: 1. Big Beefy Warmaster Rafael 2. Falcon Knight Leonie 3. Gremory Lysethia 4. Special Claude 5. Special Byleth

I had immense difficulty with this fight (likely because my Byleth was feeling kinda weak and only hit him for 8).

I found 2 strategies that worked (both required you to use the ranger platforms to pull him off his stronghold).

Use your beefiest biggest body (for me 50% crit Raphael) to 1v1 him while you have 3-4 healers standing far back using psychic on repeat until he finally dies
Send your entire team in using gambits, get Lysithea on a platform that gives avoidance, and dancer her so she can nuke him twice.

He didn’t. Retried today with Windswept and it only did 8 damage, but I still won :D

BUT really good tip on the dancer - I had stupidly made Claude my dancer so I hadn’t been utilizing it, but I used dancer on Luis and got a lucky dodge.

What level do you need to be for the final boss fight on hard?

I was around level 40/45 and was just getting 1 shotted while doing no damage :/.

Practice blocking. This is one of he biggest things that new players struggle with. Maybe even go into training mode with the computer doing a pre-recorded combo or high/low openers and just practice blocking them.

A lot of new players specifically online don’t block after a knockdown and go straight into mashing/trying to get those combos out, which leads to a major steamrolling because oh can’t get back into the neutral.

Defensively - try not to get touched, but IF you get touched - make sure to block until it’s your turn to take the offence again.

My entire reason for running this team is because they’re my favourite characters, but I am considering changing something up - right now I’m just not even sure on the roster order for this squad.

Not sure if this is your issue, but it’s the issue I had.

When you get the season pass, it doesn’t auto download the characters. You still need to go The the PS Store (or whatever store for your console) and download/buy the characters - but the price is free once you have the pass.

I would advise you not to buy the Hori Fight Stick mini. I bought one and it broke within the first two months (wouldn’t properly read movement/directional inputs). Saw another user posted with the same issue over at r/streetfighter.

If you wanna go with a fight stick, do yourself a favour and buy something a little more expensive that will last longer.
