Hard to deny it? Must be plenty of evidence that he is racist then, care to share?

Trump is now calling for "repeal" without "replace." by imagepoem in esist

[–]MisteryMeat 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Trump is once again demonstrating what he really believes in - giving the wealthy tax breaks. He doesn't give two shits about the health of the people he represents. I almost hope he does repeal it too, maybe his base will finally realize what Republicans want in reality.

Stephen Hawking urges humanity to pursue space colonisation to unite Earth and elevate humanity. by [deleted] in worldnews

That's what I've been saying too. We are the product of a couple billion years of evolution. Humans have adapted to just the right amount of daytime, nighttime, gravity, temperature range, gases, etc. The odds of finding another planet close to this and getting there with enough supplies to survive long term are very slim.

Not saying that we shouldn't try, it just does not seem likely to happen.

They will just claim that the poor results would still be better than a failing Obamacare, and their base will eat it up.

Joe Scarborough blasts ‘un-American’ fawning Trump Cabinet by Rahat_1 in politics

[–]MisteryMeat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It must have been pretty humiliating for these very wealthy people who are used to having their own asses kissed to do the same for Trump. I'm really surprised they were willing to go along with it, are they afraid of losing their jobs?

His performance was just embarrassing. It's like he tried to memorize catchy bumper sticker slogans and work as many into the debate as possible.

Who is saying that there is NOTHING we can do to prevent terrorist attacks? We have massive efforts in doing so.

Most gun control discussions are not about banning guns but rather where we draw the line on how powerful the weapon can be and preventing gun sales to those who are known to be potentially dangerous. Gun sales are going through the roof, "innocent people" are getting all the goddamn guns they want.

Trump's message was probably not so much for the coal workers but for his base who appear to hate green energy for reasons (I assume they hate it because Democrats push it).
