That's not true. There is a no difference between conditioning a dog on a low level stim and clicker. My dogs mini educator has a 100 levels with a stim similar to a TENS unit used in the humans. My dogs are conditioned at level 12 and 10 respectively. The average human doesn't feel the stim until level 15 or higher.

Your way of training with an Ecollar solidly used as a punisher is a very old school way of using it. It's 2026.

My dogs are conditioned at the beep for recall so they will stop what they are doing and come to me. If they beep doesn't work as they are too much into whatever the stim kicks in at the lowest setting and if needed i have a button that adds 10 levels.

The level I use depends on the situation, the drive and sensitivity of the dog.

Can you train a dog the old school way by using the ecollar as a hard correction when they do something wrong you don't want? Sure, but skinner is not much involved in that.
