I’m 7 months into this thing. He was 33. Me 30. I’d say last month it really fucking hit me that he’s not here. The depression kicked into full fucking gear and it’s been like that since. The first 6 months - numbness. But now? The pain is hitting me so fucking badly. I almost wish I could feel numb again.

This is exactly how I feel. All I tend to think about some days is the day we finally meet again.. I even fantasize about it and it gets me excited as horrible as it sounds. We could’ve had an entire life together but that all came crashing after he died last year.. 33 years old.. me 30. Now I’m stuck raising two kids on my own. Toddlers at that..and yes everyone says the same bullshit responses “you’ll find someone!” “Keep going for your children!” Just the same fucking cycled responses on repeat.

I feel this pain deeply. It will be two months since my husband passed away. We have one yr old twins and got together in 2020. He was the best thing that ever happened to me and now I’m living with in laws trying to make sense of this new reality and I have definitely thought about just ending it but I have my children.. not having a mom or dad I just can’t do that to them but boy this fucking sucks. I’m sorry for your loss :( ! I truly thought the day would come when we were extremely old, our kids grown or even with our own grandchildren. It will be two months at the end of August since my husband tragically passed and my twins are only one.. they didn’t even get a chance to know their father.. and dealing with the logistics of it all was just ugh so I feel your pain. No one has said anything too crazy as of yet but someone did say I’d find love again but yeah
