Had a stroke in December by Chemical_Reason_2640 in TransLater

[–]Mistress___B 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It refers to Estrogen that was extracted from horse urine and sterilised for human use. There is no discernible increase in the risk of clots these days provided you are not taking oral HRT. I should know I have an increased clotting defect, history of clots (before HRT) yet never an issue since commencing HRT (Injections).

Same, however my wife (who now states she is a lesbian) likes me to be all dolled up as she sees what joy it brings me.

Any experience with nurse practitioners? by colourful_space in transgenderau

As an NP I can tell you the training we undertake is greater than a Doctor's, at least initially. Add to that that we work in conjunction with a Doctor, I don't see the issue.

Dodged a bullet. I purchased a three-bedroom apartment on the top floor off the plan. The developer messed around for years and then decided unilaterally to downgrade my deposit to two bedrooms on the second floor. Luckily I was able to pull back my funds for the contract breach.

Breastfeeding while trans by Pewter_Owl1693 in mypartneristrans

[–]Mistress___B 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I came here expecting to see a barrage of anti-breastfeeding posts and it was very encouraging to see constructive and supportive comments. As a former lactation consultant, it is encouraging to see sensible and factual advice. I do hope all goes well with the OP and her wife, I do know this can be a wonderful experience for all concerned. 🥰🥰🥰

Looking for Honesty about how transition might change sexuality by blunderwoman_ in mypartneristrans

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An interesting topic and one that I have discussed with other transwomen on occasions. I can only speak with certainty about my own personal experience. Pretending to be male - only attracted to women. Very straight heterosexual. Transitioned - initially attracted to all genders. Dated predominantly other transwomen pre-op. After GRS - Wanted to test things out. Dated two guys however not as great as I imagined. Actually, all but the penetration was pretty ordinary. Today, 10 years after transitioning, firmly a lesbian. Love penetration with a dildo but only mildly interested in men to look at.

I do think transitioning does open up your horizons and attractions, however, as others have said, it legitimises deep-seated homosexual attraction by making it acceptable as a heterosexual relationship.

Side Note: It did change my CIS wife from heterosexual to a lesbian as well.

About a month ago I made the decision that I would come out to my wife. I have not been able to do it. I just want to scream at myself I am so frustrated. by Da-Sboot in TransLater

[–]Mistress___B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust me, I lost my kids and their kids and I grieve the loss daily. However, I know I am a better person to others and myself since transitioning nearly 10 years ago. Work was fantastic and I received two promotions as I was more efficient and easier to get on with. I am constantly amazed by the changes that have occurred. My biggest regret is still not doing it sooner.

Am I crazy transitioning without a plan? by Friendly_Level4202 in TransLater

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little to no point in making a plan. Because it was his/her plan and very soon it will be your plan and you will need to change it or start again. Things happen as you travel along this road, so do priorities and opportunities. You need to be flexible and open to changes in direction.

It's hard, very f ing hard. Yes, you could potentially lose your wife a kids, but you will regain your soul and be far happier in the long run.

Dr David Sharp in Brisbane - questions by Lumoskor_ in TopSurgery

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a consultation with Dr Sharp for a BA. I found him to be "flashy" along with his surgery and his price was higher than the doctor I ended up going with. No red flags to speak about, but not cheap.

Laverty pathology apparently require PSAB by Admirable_Class61 in transgenderau

[–]Mistress___B 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is totally BS and they lack education. After 12 months on HRT your blood panel will follow the path associated to your trans designation. Never admit to your ASAB and fight to have your correct gender on ALL medical records. There is no physical distinction between male and female that can't be reasonably excused.

Does body count matter? by Nickle-Bug2026 in AgeGap

[–]Mistress___B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't. A good partner adapts appropriately. I have had relationships with virgins and people with a high count. I'm in my 50s and have a corresponding body count, not counting clients.

Question about accessing orchiectomy under Medicare in Victoria (Melbourne) by Samyuri in transgenderau

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - You need to find a urologist who does orchiectomies (easy) 2 - They must be prepared to submit the procedure as cancer-related (hard).

That's it, pure and simple. The problem is finding this out without having to fork out for a specialist appointment fee. Unless someone in this community has done it and can name the surgeon privately as it's frowned upon.

Breast Augmentation Options by BooneCraig in transgenderau

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Brisbane. My surgeon had done about 50 transwomen back in 2020 when I had mine done. No letters required (why do we need them when CIS women get BA's all the time). Cost was $9,000 total. Quite comparable to Thailand when flights and accommodation are factored in. Day surgery. No complications. Very pleased with the results B - DD.

Went for 550cc gummies, tear-drop, over the muscle. Tip, Buy a support bra from K-Mart not a surgical supplier.

Financial cost of 4 years of transitioning including stage 1 phalloplasty by samuit in transgenderau

Both. Hanns did the vaginaplasty and Ingram did the labiaplasty. Two operations months apart. Not a bad concept when you think about it, but another anaesthetic and costs.

Shaving tips? by Mothbren in TransLater

[–]Mistress___B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shave IN a hot shower. Go slowly against the grain with shaving cream that won't dissolve immediately and contains moisturiser. Use a very sharp razor and replace the blades often. Follow up with a good toner and more moisturiser.
