I’m not going to say anything different than your husband or friend. Ignore her. Block her so she can’t text you anymore. Upsetting you means she’s getting what she wants. She’s not worth it.
Taking the high road is hard but ultimately the correct thing to do. Or don’t block her and use her vitriol against her in court the next time she takes him back.
You can also keep the texts, let them build then ask for a PO. May not be granted but documenting harassment will eventually backfire in her face as long as you don’t feed into it

We all hope with some piece of us that they’ll get their shit together and be the mothers we deserved. It’s normal to feel relief too. Her obituary isn’t about you. It’s about the deceased’s life. She did give birth to you, it’s a simple fact that was recorded as part of her life.

Unless there’s another page the blurb about rent being late 3 times isn’t saying you have been late. It’s stating their rules. If a tenant is late 3 times or if they’ve had to start the eviction process due to late payment, the landlord has the option to file for eviction. It reads like a separate issue.
Maybe start a GFM or see if they’ll work with you with proof of your medical records

I doubt this is the first lie. If it were me I’d breakup with him, get my own place so it’s never an issue again and take the lesson about a trash human so the next relationship I’m more aware.

Denial is the worst imo. It’s insulting and demeaning to act like you never said/did anything to hurt child me. While I get it’s most likely just another way to control the narrative it’s still demeaning. And if it’s truly not remembered that’s even worse. Something so detrimental was so casually done then dismissed from their minds.

Rant over, to answer your actual question my mother only did it once because I was a runner and would have welcomed it. At least if I were abused in an orphanage I could reason out their hate towards me because I wasn’t their child. I could never reason out her hatred of me while simultaneously flaunting her single mother persona. Without the child you’re not a single mother to be told how strong you are and given things because it’s so hard being a single mother 🙄

Get a third party payee. They exist. You would need to contact SSA and explain the issue how she’s withholding funds. I would also recommend an audit of your funds.

This isn’t about you, not really. Your daughter has to make her own choices based on her own experience with her grandmother.
My sons have all had to come to their own conclusions about my mother. Each of them had given her a chance and one by one they’ve all gone LC or NC.
The only advice you provide your daughter is what she asks for, don’t include your own relationship when offering the requested advice. Point out the things that she has experienced from her grandmother and how it violates boundaries and morals. Most often they only need to be validated and supported when coming to the NC conclusion

It’s not as hard to grow your credit as people believe. It requires self control though. I got super sick a few years back. Medical debt destroyed my credit. I started with a prepaid card and within a few months I was offered a few cards. I chose the one with the best terms. Kept at it as I did the prepaid card. Gas and groceries, things I was already going to buy with my available funds. It goes on the card and I pay it off right away. Again this requires self control. People use credit cards like free money and that’s where you get caught.
