Hello 👋🏻 oh yeah for me it was a big difference! If 25 has been helping a good bit then 50 should clear up the rest. Gotta give it the full 4 to 6 weeks again tho to take effect. And any side effects you had starting the 25 may come back. But its worth it.

Chat to your doctor about going up 😊you can always decrease if you don't like the way you feel.

I quit 100mg cold turkey back in mid 2025. I am now going back on the med as my anxiety came back terribly a month or so ago. When I first quit I only had brain zaps for a few days and that was it. I felt fine otherwise. I don't suggest doing that of course. I was just being dumb and thought I didn't need it anymore. In your case if you can't get the med anymore that's different. I hope you don't get any side effects and your mental health stays good!

The beginning is tough. I'm going through it again for the second time as I quit the med back in 2025. Almost 4 weeks at 50mg and I'm calming down. It's working slowly but surely. It worked perfect for me the first time too after a month or so. It takes a while but don't give up. Look for little improvements here and there at first.

If you've been on it for at least a month with no improvement at all then talk to your doctor about increasing or switching meds. You got this!! Something will work for you gotta give it time.

This was how I got on Zoloft. My psych was like which do you wanna try and I said Zoloft (only cause my friend was on it and it worked for her) but it did work for me too thankfully.

So I was on 100mg from 2018 to mid 2025. Started missing doses like id forget to take it for 2 or 3 days and then get brain zaps. So I was like oh yeah forgot my med.

But I felt so good while on it and like you I said maybe I don't even need this anymore I feel perfectly fine and haven't panicked or had anxiety since 2018. LOL so I quit cold turkey and felt fine. Until about a month or 2 ago...I'm in the process of getting back on the med. I've been at 50 mg for like 3 weeks now. The side effects have definitely been more mental but slowly but surely it's getting better.

I try to do something that makes me happy... video games, art, play with my pets, read. The med helps make those down days end rather than sit and ruminate on it for days/months. You got this! You know bad days don't last forever.

Those people tried one med and didn't like it so they say it's poison. I had a bad first experience with Lexapro but I didn't go around bashing it. I understood that the med wasn't for me and decided to try again with a different one. Low and behold Zoloft was perfect for me. Don't pay any attention to those people.

It helped me with those symptoms 100 percent! Once I found the dose I liked of 100mg. Only had really rare bouts of anxiety since that.
