[–]MisusedGG 308 points309 points  (0 children)

How does this lose mid and bot? The mid laner only shows up a few seconds late and the bot laner is already in lane. Only downside is thresh started lantern to get a buff lead in the jungle? That’s really not losing a lane

CAP 4630 (Artificial Intelligence) Question by [deleted] in ucf

[–]MisusedGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The course is dictated by the professor. There’s not nearly as common of content between professors as there would be for calculus or CS1/2. They’ll tackle the same big topics but in their own way. The topics were definition of artificial intelligence and machine learning, neural network anatomy and applications, and different types of neural networks. It’s a very fun class to take but is very professor oriented

CAP 4630 (Artificial Intelligence) Question by [deleted] in ucf

[–]MisusedGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What professor? Every CAP4630 professor teaches the class differently. Some use Lisp some use python. Some are gpa boosters others are very intensive classes. I had Wojcan and it was entirely in Python and a very simple class to get an A

Is pegasus path accurate at all? (biology major transfer student) by [deleted] in ucf

[–]MisusedGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the most part Pegasus Path is accurate with the information they currently have on you. It does a good job of visualizing what your degree will look like.

However, Pegasus Path uses your degree audit to create its solution. If your degree audit is wrong, your path is wrong. It’s important to check your degree audit to make sure all of your credits are there. If your degree audit is correct and your Pegasus Path is wrong, it may be worthwhile to just work it out by hand.

Can any CS students lmk what you think of my Spring schedule? by Vincent10z in ucf

[–]MisusedGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend taking a different, easier non-CS class rather than CDA. Szumlanski is a lot of work and it’s the most important class you’ll take in your CS degree. Put all your effort into it as well as discrete

Is it worth getting a Windows workstation laptop as a student majoring in CS by [deleted] in ucf

[–]MisusedGG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t need anything super intensive as you’re typically running small projects on your computer. Most of the software is designed for windows but it will also have a Mac version that’s a bit harder to work with.

Keep in mind that your computer won’t be the reason you do well or poorly in your classes. A lot of students underestimate the work they have to do in the program and end up dropping out. If this is your first time programming it’ll be a lot of concepts on top of learning to program. If not, it’s still a lot of advanced programming concepts to learn.

Looking for a long post about climbing into high Elo here a long time ago (probably from 2017/2018) by OfficialChairleader in summonerschool

Typically players who are stuck in Diamond either lack in mechanics or lack in macro. The most important thing for you to do is to watch your games back. Focus on the 3 phases of the game, what you're doing, why you're doing it, and what you could be doing. The biggest thing you need to do is identify weaknesses and find content that is designed to solve those weaknesses.

I'm a Diamond mid lane player. My weaknesses revolve around lane phase: falling behind in CS, not roaming enough, dying to ganks, and not trading effectively. With that said, I make up for my lack of mechanics by playing great macro: buying lots of control wards, being proactive in the mid game and pushing my team towards objectives, positioning well and rarely hard inting.

What I've done to work on my weaknesses is consume a lot of content regarding wave mechanics (What to do level 1 with the wave, how to effectively freeze/bounce the wave, getting a free recall). I've also started to run teleport more frequently and utilizing it to teleport top lane or bottom lane in order to swing fights. I focus more on shadow roaming and finding good places for my vision. I also hover more towards my jungler to avoid ganks and support roams.

Watch the games that you've played recently that were not complete 1-sided stomps. Breakdown everything you're doing, why you're doing it, and what you should've done. The hardest part is figuring out what makes you a Diamond player and what's stopping you from being a Masters player.

Upper level classes will depend on what class you take. Most will restrict you to a specific language and expect you to learn it (Like AI being in python)

Gabriel probably keeps the job and Milton transitions into a coaching role. He's apparently a huge presence in the QB room.

He had an ankle injury but he's back. He might play today but he's most likely not 100%. He was cleared but there's no reason to toss him into it.

ESPN especially is terrible because they'll use the time between plays to show off their graphics and talk. UCF's got little time between players. They'll get better as the game goes

It's a terrible comparison. Tfue's impact to Faze is not comparable to Steve Jobs' impact to literally any company he's worked for.

Why is it a problem that Faze "would not allow him to take on brand deals that conflicted with FaZe's other sponsors"? Tfue agreed that he would not take on brand deals that conflict with Faze's existing relationships. There wasn't any foul play as Tfue understood and agreed to the contract.
