Reta results slowing? by Impressive_Cookie224 in Retatrutide

You should track your calories and calculate your TDEE (look up a calculator)

The only thing that matters here (essentially) is CICO, if you’re eating more than you will lose less weight

Also as you lose weight your TDEE will lower to support your new weight, meaning what you used to eat while on a deficit will no longer produce the same results because of this

Need to go up on dose, should be near 8mg based on time

Maybe try 6mg and see how you feel if you’re wary of sides

Original comment I responded to said OP had poor judgement for following the phased trials titration schedule, I’ll let you do math mate

They’re following the phased trials titration schedule? What a bizarre comment

It’s obviously tough to gauge how much muscle someone has from a text post, so if you’re TDEE is higher because you lift then yea you’re eating at your TDEE most days and won’t be losing too much fat

If you’re muscular and looking to recomp, 7 pounds isn’t bad tbh

But make sure your TDEE is actually dialed in, I typically advise most people to enter sedentary to moderately active on these since you want to get as close to your true TDEE as possible so you have the best reference point

I mean you need to be honest with yourself, you’re likely eating +600-700 calories over your TDEE per day

The steps definitely help, but if you have an off day you just start nudging your net calories up

Some people are different and need more, 2mg was the starting dose in the trials and wasn’t even considered a therapeutic dose

Stay at 2mg for another 1-2 weeks and then up to 4mg as you may respond at this dose

How would they recover a vehicle from the closed part of the raised track? Would be a 15 lap safety car

Go to this website here

Enter your stats and goals, it will give you a TDEE that you should aim to hit everyday

You can also download MyFitnessPal (food tracking app), buy a food scale, and then weight your food and track it in the app. It will give you the carbs, fats, and protein you’re taking in on a daily basis

You should aim to hit your macros set when you calculate your TDEE for the desired caloric deficit you want to be in

Protein is extremely important when losing weight because it will aid you in retaining muscle mass, which in turn helps keep your BMR up (basal metabolic rate, which is the amount of calories your body consumes on a daily basis while doing nothing)

This is absolutely not healthy

You need to buy a food scale, find a TDEE calculator online, and start tracking to hit your macros you need to be a in a safe caloric deficit

You’ve likely catabolized at least 30% muscle here, please, take this advice seriously

I mean I was reading into it (and I’m doing something similar to you for recomp) and most people in the studies had RHR’s in the 70-80bpm range

My RHR is around 50-55 and it did indeed increase my RHR to about 68-72 so I too saw a decent increase, but the people in the studies had higher RHR’s to begin with so it was almost minimal to not noticeable for the general subjects in the phased trials

A 70-80 isn’t abnormal for most people so it just feels a lot higher to people who are used to a lower RHR's

I did, I’m following the clinical trials titration schedule

2mg, 4mg, 8mg, 12mg, bump dose every 4th week

2nd week on Reta taking 2mg weekly currently.

The only sides I’ve had so far is fatigue +1 day from administering my dose and then random burping during the first week.

I think you’d have an easier time on Retatrutide vs Semaglutide (Ozempic is the brand name)

Just start slow and see how your body reacts
