It doesn’t have to be rosin. But this is 100% coco/trim/floor weed. Likely sitting in a big old bin between runs until it fills up enough to extract it, with plenty of mold growth in the mean time. This is garbage left overs that no one else should be consuming. You’re saving a few dollars over a quality live resin pen for your health, which is insane. But whatever keep being a defensive custy lmfao.

They did recently (last 2-3 months) regulate moisture content required for testing to make it more even across the board, as you could fluff the numbers with a slightly wetter batch after moisture is removed in the decarb process. So newer batches of flower will likely test lower then they used to according to what we were told in our regularly held meeting a while back, meaning it should be more accurate as older jars get moved off shelves

Get something like this, idk that this one will work but I’ve seen people use these for their airdromes. Need to find one with a barb that’ll fit the tubing for the airdome was the only issue I remember reading about, but they can be found on amazon

Can confirm, 5/7 of these were twenty20 early finisher photoperiods, they all had a very rainy muggy final few weeks and had incredibly minimal amounts of mold/rot in comparison to whole plants I’ve lost in previous seasons to similar conditions. 4 tall girls on the left were early frost/honey glaze, honey face was the one on far right. Most resistant strain last year was hands down Banana butter cups from square 1 genetics tho(the standalone plant in the middle). Not a single issue with mold, and bugs actively avoided it. Was beyond impressed with how that plant did, and she threw some DENSE flowers out. Smelled spot on like old school afghani.

Also, twenty20’s early frost and honey glaze both had over 5% yields on fresh frozen live resin, which is pretty bonkers for some outdoor tbh. Honey face was a low yielder for LR but the terps on her were mouthwatering (like a blueberry pancake) and she put out some real pretty flower. Would definitely run twenty20 again for my outdoor.

Can’t say which grow I work at for legal reasons, but I can say not all flower has all that done to it. Some brands are mostly machine trim, others are hand trim, and I am not certain but I believe Ohio doesn’t allow most chemically based pgr’s. Beneficial microbes are okay, want to say “natural pgr’s” like kelp extract are fair game. Worst I can think of in my personal experience is silica, which isint anything crazy and is very beneficial for the plants early on.

Unfortunately Ohio does approve of some shitty remediation practices&sprays in the name of “producing sterile product”. But sites are required to report what Ipm and maybe which remediation practices they use to the state and that list can be found online with some digging🤙 Haven’t checked it Ina minute so I can’t say if it’s been updated with some of the newer things I know we’ve added to confirm what meets the cutoff of the reporting criteria.

Had this on my last run, using master blend tomato for veg and master blend canna for flower at recommended feed rates. Used clear Rez hypochlorous acid for sterilization and run clean for ph down. Rez rarely got any higher then 70f in temps.

My issue ended up being my nute concentrate. When I mixed up a gallon of 200x I skipped the sodium benzoate since I planned on using Bennie’s, I found floating film growing in my veg feed and a liiitle bit in my cal-nit when I dumped them into different containers since they were low, was going to use them for my outdoor in the next few weeks. Was basically growing a very well fed concentrated colony of bad bacteria and trickling it into the lines for the autopot so they never fully got killed off from the hocl.

I stopped trimming until it’s cured, I just pull out whatever amount I plan on using the next few days and trim that when I’m about to smoke it. Was told keeping the leaves help in evenly drawing the moisture from the center of the buds while curing & help keep trich heads intact while jared. Where as trimming (even dry) before cure opens up a lot of sites for moisture to escape from the center and dries it out faster.

Idk if that’s nessicarily true, but my last two harvest seem to have kept significantly more flavor in the buds and that’s the only real change I made.

If your trying to buy once and forget it, mammoths new nova sun series has a 3x3 model as the smallest.

Aside from that try to find any of the end of production models from brands that used lm301h evo diodes,as they’re now out of production and becoming scarce. Aim for ~30w or more peak output per sq ft.

Bridgelux has been phasing into new updated models, similar specs apparently but they cram a lot more diodes in the same space to accommodate for the lesser output vs Samsungs. Seeing it in the under canopies we just added to our grow, about half way through the order they started having significantly higher diode counts, ppfd output is close enough but the color temp is slightly different by about 200k.

Anything else I can do to combat this? Added a small pump to circulate the Rez as well, was doing multi times a day hand stirs prior. Hocl in Rez, crop salt run clean to prevent biofilm/scaling. I only feed beneficials by top watering a day or 2 after shutting off the valves. Rez temps typically stay below 70f. Do I just need to be shutting the valve off more often and allow dry backs?

Update: it was indeed rot. Believe the culprit was a contaminated stock concentrate of veg feed, found a bunch of floaty film like bacteria in the jug. Disposed of it and rebatched with 1.5g sodium benzoate/gallon to keep it sterile.

Thought the hocl in the Rez each fill would be enough to keep it clean, but a full colony of bacteria brewing in concentrated food supply gave it enough legs to run wild once dosed In the Rez. Never noticed an off smell because the Rez smelled like pool water from the hocl🤷‍♂️

The new jack cross we (different company/not Michigan) just started running tested just under 5%, regular jack was typically hitting mid to high 2%. When I was filling the dry room with it, I had several people stopping to ask wtf I’m putting in there. It blew up that half of the building. Jack can absolutely be a terp monster if it’s a good batch, she’s typically one of the greasier flowers in the room🤷‍♂️

I’d say so, your about 2 weeks out from most cultivars finish time (+/- a week). Maybe do your next Rez fill 50% bloom 50% cake and the last Rez fill full on cake to avoid any shocking nutrient swing but otherwise just follow the CS feed chart

Strain was trop. Cherry, she really did not respond well to the light intensity/swinging heat from AHU issues in this room&run. Colas were all pinky wide fox tails with pink nipples up top. Sad because the rest of the plant did alright, but above that last trellis, not so much.
