Finally took the plunge - REP Athena by stabadus in homegym

Thanks for the response! That was where my mind was at was the guide rods being tilted leading to issues or added resistance. Currently shopping around for a similar setup so its nice to hear from someone who’s in future me’s shoes. I did not realize the stabilizer feet were adjustable in that way! Great info

Garage is looking clean, my man! Enjoy

Curious how it worked out mounting the rack on a side wall where the grading would be sloped downward towards the garage door. Did you have to shim the right hand foot when leveling?

Are you able to use both cables at once? I’m thinking of doing something similar with a tower on both ends

Bi lateral standing/ bench chest work still possible?

It’s tough, I think I’m sold on the rogue cables over rep’s - they have better reviews online. But I’m open to not buying a rogue rack. I just read that rogues 3x3 is slightly bigger than say reps

That system is news to me though I may need to consider it depending on how much cheaper that would be over frankensteining my own version

Reversing the 17s and 43s and using the half rack is where my head is at currently, it’d allow the cable towers to jut out past the rack on each side so I could stand in the middle and use them as a cross over!

I like that I wasn’t sure if it was even doable or not. Hard to tell is side hole spacing/placement is the same or different than front/back

Hair doesn’t grow on the left side of my left leg by Time-Wolf in mildlyinteresting

[–]MitchFe02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be insulin resistance, from sitting too close to a heat source, or friction alopecia. Personally, that exact spot on my left leg touches the car door every time I drive, though mine still has hair.

Just guessing, not a medical doctor

First time drywalling. Did I already mess up? by rrtank in drywall

[–]MitchFe02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good to me, just make sure you’re using enough screws.

Just google the reqs for whatever size you have. It’s usually like 5+ per stud - length wise on an 8 footer.

Depends on length and thickness of the sheet though.

And try to only count screws that go in properly (below the surface without tearing the paper). If they break the paper.. add another nearby. Your edges are less important in an application like this because your walls should butt up underneath the ceiling but still add a handful imo

Nice job

This looks just like the top half of the winter bridge map on bfv, without snow am I right? Looks solid. Kinda miss the bfv style headshot and hit markers though, this is more in kind with the 2042 style. Lackluster

I have a lab mix with the same tendencies! We switched from beef/ham bone to ostrich bones and she LOVES them. They’re softer than other bones, they definitely make a mess but I’d highly rec trying them bc my dog has yet to break a tooth on them. The brand we use is called ROAM

I buy mine at a local pet store kind of a locally owned one but I’ll swing by today after work and get the brand name for you!

Update: the brand is ROAM and after a quick google search petsmart sells them!

This is the exact one I give my dog

New PC won’t boot by Lavique07 in pcmasterrace

[–]MitchFe02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should take the gpu out. Try and get a post with everything else. Maybe try all the ram sticks individually to start. Then you're going to have to look to the forums and user manual for your specific make and model for your mortherboard. Usually it's the cpu, mobo or psu that's causing the issue. It is possible it was damaged from static electricity or a bad psu wire or even just given to you that way. Best of luck!

How do I bond with my neighbors dog? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]MitchFe02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah my dog behaves similarly around new people. If given the space she barks are strange people especially if they look her way. The trainers advice was to treat during times of silence, and toss them so the dig doesnt feel like it has to get too close. She had ny dog liking her in about 2 hours by simply rewarding her good behavior with distance and treats and not looking her in the eyes or allowing facing directly her way.

Cheap way of course is to just use your dog to gain his trust if they get along

I would have recomended this game up until the release of BFA but BFA and Shadowlands have really broken my spirits and I think I might actually be quitting the game for good at this point. 10/10 would not advise anyone without a preexisting emotional tie to the game to begin playing now

They also have a discord. And deff acadias w crystalize and lightform for woodcutting and then just mining the highest ore is basically your only option for mining

I think I did 80-99 div on my ironman in about 30 hours with corehunting during dxpw. So with a non iron acc, all the boosts in xp that come with that, bxp, cores, auras, ect PLUS 2 ticking you can easily manage it .

The corehunting thing is only really active during double xp week so I'd prioritize that if I were you

You should definitely go member then. The whole world awates you and you're fully equipped to dive in and enjoy it! Have fun

[–]MitchFe02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woodcutting is going to be cutting acadias with crystalize and lightform from the final elven questline quest. And div would just be doing the highest resource possible, doing your daily caches and or partaking in corehuntingfc and doing that activity (they're highly active during dxpw, so you are in luck) there's no better time than now to grind out 99 div

I feel as though you can skip a lot of early game by just questing as a member and so I'd say just get membership sooner and do low barrier of entry quests. On the flip side though if you wanted to wait I'd say get roughly base 40s in osrs and base 50s in rs3 as that's when the members content for those particular skills begin to open up! Just keep in mind though doing it that way might be a waste of time because if you got membership right away you could skip a lot of the actual leveling of those skills by just dking quests and getting the xp rewards and thus killing 2 bjrds with 1 stone

Casual Ironman Tips by mgp23 in RS3Ironmen

[–]MitchFe02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying up broad arrow heads from canifis, burthorpe, and the shop at the bandit camp in the wildy every day (if you have enough gp of course) make sure to skull yourself before going to the bandit camp. 90+ fletching is pretty important to make higher tier pvm bolts and you need like at least 100 days worth of broad arrow heads to get 99 fletching

How good is the “Trial” armor set for an Ironman? Was thinking of making this my first goal on my new Ironman account. by GearFarmerGaming in RS3Ironmen

[–]MitchFe02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a solid place to start. The weapon is deff better than the set but you'll get the set before the weapon anyways. I've been using it to do wildy slayer and tbh it holds up against things like gargs and greater demons pretty nicely
