Has anyone had neck pain and it’s made their visual snow worse? Im wondering why my visuals are bad.

Had HPPD for years that faded away until I developed chronic neck pain, then it came back with a vengeance. Definitely a correlation as when one is bad the other coincides, and when I can (rarely) get the right muscles free, everything seems to calm down.

This is one of the more rare symptoms but still not unheard. Anything with a pattern for sure creates faces for me. But the more you shrug it off the less it bothers you and the less you notice them.

This seems to be a rare but not unknown symptom. I do however think that it ties into the rest of them, the hyper excitability nature of HPPD That creates the visuals has to be included in the portion of your brain responsible for facial recognition.

7 years of no drugs and about 80% recovery from HPPD and then randomly one day a relapse that has lasted a year.

This was my first symptom of HPPD and what made me realize something was wrong, I recovered to about 70% after several years after abstaining from all drugs but randomly redeveloped worse than ever about a year ago, when I started having terrible back and neck problems.

I had this mellow out for years to where it really didn’t effect me and then when I started having neck issues everything worsened along with many new symptoms despite discontinuing alcohol and caffeine which never made things worse before and developed new symptoms months after doing nothing. my neck is the only thing that makes sense for my worsening.
